I remember a lot of these stories. That child who was killed for the i-pad wouldn't let go of it because his dad had worked overtime for it. It was a Christmas gift to him and meant a lot to him, he knew how hard his dad worked for it. It was a terrible day for the family. I so remember the Metro officer, my daughter works for Metro, he lived three blocks from our home. Guess I have lived here a lot longer than I think I have. Thank you for doing these visits.

@@starquant you have no idea what that man earned per hour. You have no idea how many mother's make well more than that father. Wage "inequality" is bs. And your need to pull that stunt on such a topic as this paints you to be a ridiculous child. It isn't a game of "who works harder for their money". Shame on you. You're just gross...

I am sorry if I said anything here to upset anyone about the father paying for the child's i-pad. It had been a Christmas gift to the child from the parents. A lot of children come from single family parent homes. In this family the daddy was the one who had to work overtime for the money to afford the gift. It was told in the story when this happened. That is the only reason I KNEW the back story as did anyone who went to the high school, our grandson went to the High School and like I said our daughter is a Metro Officer so we knew about this. YES, or YES a LOT of moms work to afford their children their gifts as well. We have a daughter who is a single mom. I was NOT trying to ever say it is just men who work and not women to provide for their families. Please accept my apology if that is how it sounded. Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings I didn't mean to do that.

You don't cope you survive a day at a time, until we meet them again as we need this bit of hope so we don't give up on their surviving brothers or sisters, as for those who have lost a child to violence my heart goes out to them, I lost my beloved daughter to an illness, had I lost her to violence I don't believe I could have gone on, treasure your children for once you lose them your life is basically over 💔

I’ve noticed that a lot of the time violent offenders, like the scum bags that killed the boy while trying to steal his iPad, often get a second chance. Well, that’s unfortunate to me because their victim doesn’t get a second chance at life.

Death under natural circumstances is hard enough that I cannot put in to words the sorrow I feel . Thank you again Lamont for your love and compassion for these innocent victims. I truly believe, as you do that every dog has it’s day. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Please be safe out there.

Hi Lamont , I watch you from the UK. I think what you do is wonderful , telling people's stories. So many of them are heartbreaking. To many kids and young people losing their lives for senseless reasons . It is incredibly painful to bury your child . My husband and i have buried 3 beautiful daughters . None were murdered , thank god , but all of our precious angels passed shortly after they were born . Our world is a frightening place these days , here in the UK knife crime is everywhere. So many young people losing their lives , it's so tragic. Please continue to do what you do , thankyou .

Hi, Lamont, I'm a new subscriber. I live in the Washington DC area. We have some of the most beautiful cemeteries. One cemetery that I'm particularly excited to share with you is Fort Lincoln Cemetery. My family members are there and its such a lovely place. It started out as a Park where individuals would get married. As the years progressed families would still have picnics and weddings there amongst the deceased. If you ever make it this way would you mind saying hello to my aunt and Uncle in the community mausoleum towards the back? Their names are Joseph Gilchrist and Gretchen A. Gilchrist. Keep up the excellent work.

OMG Lamont!! I left for the same reason!! Vegas is a cess pool of crap!! I'm so glad we moved to Idaho. I love it here!! It's high desert, not alot of snow, no fleas on my dogs, I was able to take my sister's stories and all the rest and realize the place has changed, but not us. We are the same fresh faced kids, believing in the system. I was wrong. But thank God not about all of them. I am greatful!!! You reach out to me, and you will see a whole nuther side of our belief system. Trust in me and the real system. I promise you won't be disappointed. You will see your beliefs carried thru to the end

Great job sir. I belong to another group that studies the Statuary and graves of well known people. However, while I believe you have your own very interesting story , I think your videos are the best. I believe as I am sure others do too that a grave stone tells a story. I am amazed at the amount that have pictures of the deceased. You are making a difference by speaking about respect for others, and how quickly a life can end. Thank you.

I found this about Christopher Ross Connor: "November 17, 2008 MISSION BEACH: Police are investigating the death of a Mission Beach man who was involved in a fight with a neighbor early yesterday, officials said. San Diego police Lt. Kevin Rooney said the neighbor went to see the victim, identified as Christopher Ross Connor, 21, in his home on Bayside Lane at Niantic Court late Saturday, and the two fought. After the fight, Connor became unresponsive and the neighbor left, police said. The neighbor returned about an hour later and officers detained him, Rooney said. Paramedics were unable to resuscitate Connor; he was pronounced dead at 12:28 a.m. An autopsy is pending. Police arrested Brandon Michael Callanan, 29, and booked him into jail on suspicion of murder. Callanan was being held without bail. "

I know a man, who was in the bar one night. He was a pretty laid back kinda guy, but also was the life of the party (if that even makes sense). Well another man started getting in his face. It was obvious he wanted to fight. They didn't even know each other. My friend kept trying to ignore the guy and just have fun. But the other guy wasn't having it. My friend tried and tried to ignore the guy. The guy just wouldnt get out of his face. Finally my friend had had enough and he punched the guy, one time. The way the guy fell, and the way he hit his head, well, it killed him. My friend was out to have fun that night. His idea of fun didn't include fighting. But after so long he just couldn't take it anymore. Point of my story...why aren't we smart enough by now to all get along? My friend didn't want to hit that guy that night, on the contrary, the other guy wanted to fight and his desire to fight, killed him. Of course my friend isn't without blame. And it's something he'll have to live with for the rest of his life. But seriously. Why haven't we evolved into better human beings? Why are we getting worse? WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?! Anyway, that's my rant. Sorry.

Our cemeteries would be so much less full if it were not for guns and drugs. What a pity that so many loved ones died needlessly.

No, not the guns. If it wasn’t for people with malicious intent who had access to guns.

You touched on a poinient subject for me...... what happened to the days you had a fist fight or verbal fight with the other person and walked away? I long for those days. Too many mothers and fathers burying their kids for situations that should have never happened. It is rediculous!!! I cannot understand why!!! There is no reason to do this!! NONE!

So many very young children under the age of 12, heartbreaking for their parents to bury their babies before their time. :'(

@@LamontAtLarge after watching your video I'm pretty captivated. Im gonna come back to Palms NW but want to visit the other Palms cemetery locations too. I'm not morbid, but knowing now how many of my heroes are buried in Las Vegas, it feels only right to go pay my respects. Love your exposition and respectful demeanor in your videos. Well earned sub.
