This program should be required watching in many secondary schools and college campuses. What a different time it was back in 1971 when a person with the integrity and intelligence of a Shirley Chisolm gave straightfoward honest truthful answers and didn't evade or avoid questions which is in stark contrast to today when many poiticians are standoffish, hostile, and don't complete sentences and do not give specifics or clarification about what they really mean.

Direct answers to questions, many of which were tinged with male and racist overtones. Ms Chisholm continuously corrected the “assumptions” and brought the re-statement her point of view to the fore.
