"Face the Nation" is the number one Sunday morning public affairs program. The broadcast is one of the longest-running news programs in the history of television, having premiered on CBS on Nov. 7, 1954. John Dickerson is the host of "Face the Nation". He also serves as Political Director for CBS News and is a contributor to Slate magazine and its podcast The Political Gabfest. Guests include government leaders, politicians, and international figures in the news. "Face the Nation" airs Sunday mornings. Check local listings for "Face the Nation" broadcast times.

Yes Pamela! I experienced that when I heard him in Concert and met him back stage. I will always be great-full and blessed by a fellow TaiChi student for offering my husband and my self those back stage passes. I didn’t even know her name. First time I saw this young man, I saw deep spirituality and just a lovely soul. I have not been disappointed over these few years as I have watched him develop. How wonderful his approach to music, the language of the soul.

When I saw him in my then-friends’ living room playing for us on their piano, I witnessed greatness. I wasn’t wrong. One of our greatest national treasures.

8/22/19~ Great conversation between two spirits that obviously HEAR the other. Sure do miss John Dickerson's interviews. Jon is a beautiful soul translating his philosophy into his music. Love the lessons they present here...hope folks hear their wisdom.

He is such a beautiful human being in the world :) Learned so much getting taught to dance at a Yugoslavian Orthodox Church , with women who did not speak English . It was amazing and so intimate , to learn across language , religion and culture , so beautiful !

Well Colbert is the Star 🌟 f His show. Can’t have have two stars, in the same arena, the light would blind the ones soaking up what they offer. So, it’s ok, it takes time to cultivate brilliance.

It's not often that I cry when I am watching face the nation. Let's get serious here folks. But when he finishes with smile though your heart is breaking. And you know what it is instantly even at the beginning. But you're just so overwhelmed at the wholeness if it ... well I guess there's not much more to say. What a great rabbit hole I went down into today when I started watching John Batiste music. . I needed it. And I see my next recommendation is him on Amanoourb . So I will watch that one. And probably cry some more. What a great afternoon... and not a football team in sight..
