I'm responding to your video over 50 don't ruin your face I do agree that after a certain age or a certain development of Aging only surgery will give people the results they desire however in the beginning of your video you showed pictures of Christie Brinkley and Nicole Kidman and you mentioned how fillers and Botox don't look good on older women however once a woman has had a good facelift I'm 78 and have had one at 47,a 2nd one at 65 and a 3rd at 75 and since I am very rejuvenated fillers and Botox do look good on me so I think you neglected to say that once a woman's face is restored to youthfulness with surgery then Botox and fillers can look good on her at almost any age especially if she's looking in her 30s or 40s

Thanks for sharing very valuable facts. However as already been commented here by others, I'm in the same situation that there's no way I can ever afford to do a full face-lift. 😢 I would like to know, what's your opinion and experience about plasmapen? Could that be useful to tighten up areas under the eyes? Sagging skin. Or could it be helpful to get better looking skin around the chin and mouth area? Where I am bothered by large pores and harsh looking skin around those areas. I am turning 53 in December. I live in Sweden so unfortunately I can't visit your clinic. Thank you in advance for answer!🙏🙀

100% agree that full face rejuvenation at this age is the way to go, but in the US, it's so expensive, and it's possible to delay aging and reverse a LOT just through Microneedling. No procedure that I have done in my life was as helpful as the high-quality derma pen I got for around 100$.

Yeah sure, during the years I have tried almost everything to look younger + delay aging as much as possible, anything from face exercises, vitamin C serum, Fraxel, collagen supplements and of course Retin A (7 years straight), home devices and what not. I swear, Nothing made any real difference compared to microneedling. Within 3 months of use, my skin has improved DRAMATICALLY. I don't look like I'm 20's again, but definitely not 44 either. My fine lines have disappeared completely, and my nasolabial folds are way less are nonexist (never had jowls though). People often underestimate the power of wounding and the revolutionary effects it can have on the skin

Dr. I thank you for providing such thorough and accurate information. I am 55 years old and for years I went on the search for a surgeon to do my facelift. My options narrowed down to two ..you and another surgeon in my city. My hubby and I opted for our local surgeon for obvious reasons -aside from the fact that he’s an excellent surgeon that also specializes in face surgery. I had my surgery 14 weeks ago and I am beyond happy with my results. He did exactly what you mentioned. If plastic surgeons can adjust their prices, you are going to have much a lots of requests for this. But now, if all these people are close of their retirement they have to think wisely of their finances. At more then sixty years old, you should propose something for this specific clients. $250k is crazy. I know Dr. Karam is good but enough already! I live in Palm Springs area and had: Vertical Restore, Bi lateral eye raise, ear lobe correction, bucal fat removal, top lip lift, CO2 face laser, my turkey neck gone, under eye fat transfer to fill in sunken under eyes. It also included 3, 2 hour sessions in oxygen tank for healing. I also received a complete skincare package. My doctor was Dr. Ritu Chopra. He video called me at home to check on me as well as saw me at least once per month for the first year. I paid $60k and I think he charges the highest in my area. However, he has an excellent reputation, awesome bedside manner, terrific staff. My procedure was in his office with Anastesia. Plus, I spent the first night in his office with a nurse by my side. I know this same procedure is not this expensive with other desert doctors. I’m glad I went to Dr. Chopra, great experience.

This man is 💯percent correct! I had a full facial rejuvenation (brow lift, upper and lower eyelids, full face lift, neck lift, and a little lipo of the chin and neck area) at 51 years of age and it was an amazing result that has carried me through 18 years (I am now 69.) I have maintained the result by having CO2 Laser twice since then and I go in only once a year for a little botox in the glabella and Juvederm in the marionette lines, if needed, but very little. I also use RetinA every night (over 35 years) and use sunscreen every morning. Well worth every penney 😉
@marieb1325 ай бұрын
I completely agree. You only have one face so don’t risk going to a bad doc just to save a little money. Had mine at 55 and it has lasted 15 years. That only happens when you have an excellent doc. You don’t want squinty eyes or the joke chin. A very tell tail story of having work done by a unskilled doc. This doc knows what he is doing so you don’t look different just younger. Worth every penny.

Thank you for this informative advice. I’m 63 and beautiful on the inside and outside. I feel that too many people have negative opinions on what another person what for themselves. I’m pro surgery, if you ask me a person should be able to feel as beautiful as they want and if surgery helps then so be it. If you feel that a facelift will make you happy then do just that. I don't advocate plastic surgery anymore. I had plans to rejuv my face/neck and the my breasts lifted. The plastic surgeon here in Miami came highly recommended by a well known dermatologist here. I met him, good personality even though he was a bit full of himself. He failed my SMAS procedure. He changed his mind while I was under anesthesia NOT to do lower blepharoplasty that I paid for and contractually signed for. He decided to do fat grafting instead! The left eye now has a large "fat lump" over it and underneath there is another "fat lump" and also hollowing under eye. He left two inch long scars on either side of my hairline to do a browlft that failed! My eyebrows are where they were before 😢 The scars will not grow hair, so my high forehead is harder to cover. I don't know what he did to my jaw, but the right side is mishapen. Most of the fat he injected is dissapating except for eye lumps. To top everything off, I have nerve damage under my skin. I feel like my face/neck is being pulllled, areas like cheeks, mouth etc are numb but sometimes painful. Sometimes I feel like I have a rope around my neck. In the beginning, April 6th 2021 I was so hopeful. He told me to "trust the process" I was unusually swollen bruised for months. He asked me to come in for a makeup shot at 3 weeks and couldn't believe he was serious as there was no way to put makeup on at that point! In January the following year I went to consult with him about fixing my eye. He wanted another $8000 +! I wanted to get other opinions and was asked to get the surgical report. There were lies on that! He stated that he did an upper blepharoplasty on me, describing how many centimeters the incisions were etc! When I asked for the report, he had his "girl" call me to let me know that Dr. A is suggesting I seek help elsewhere, as it's obvious we are not on the same page. He blew me off. Needless to say I have been trying to wrap my head around the fact that I will have to live with the look and the FEELING for the rest of my life. I will never be rid of him because I FEEL it every day. I will not be getting my beautiful but sagging breasts lifted because of the nightmare I went through. Every Dr. I consulted down here had some different solution. Bleph under left eye only, won't touch fat lump above eye. One Dr. wanted to put fillers under my eyes and inject Kenalog into the fat lump above my eye. It turned into insanity. I am a shell of my former older looking self. I wish I had left myself alone. Vanity is a cruel refection.

Ooohhh... Dr. Amir looks like an amazing surgeon. I kinda wonder about this trademark vertical restoration. Other doctors do not do this?? The price in this is HEFTY. I just say this because he is in Texas, and I wont be getting there anytime soon, and that in a pricey, pricey procedure. I guessing he trademark, and is marketing his techniques. He does have over 20 years experience. But my omg, these prices are HIGH

I am a former massage therapist and I went to my clients homes, they were allvery wealthy and had many face lifts starting in their 40's. No matter what people still know a person's age. The best thing I found is healthy foods, don't drink a lot of alcohol, stay active, moisturize, and do facial exercises they work. I also massage my face and drain lymph so it gets rid of puffy eyes and saggy jowls. Be your age and be proud of it!

At 54 yrs old I’ve taken a very holistic approach. After playing with the thought of fillers and deciding against it, I’ve been doing osteopathic massage with incredible results. Consistency is a MUST and you will see results. It won’t give you the look of a tight “facelift” but it will give you a natural, youthful look along with proper skincare and adequate hydration. The key is to age beautifully as well as gracefully. Who wants to look 20 with a 60 year old body anyway? Aging is inevitable ladies. Love yourself naturally❤

I'm 57 and in my 2nd year of menopause and have noticed changes in my body even though I am in pretty good shape. I have noticed jowels and a heaviness on my eyes etc. As I see women my age getting these procedures done I have been tempted to get a little this or that. One thing that is very noticeable is that when I smile in pictures I look way younger and that is the the answer, for me anyways. I am getting older and will continue to try and stay positive and smile more. Putting stuff into my face makes me nervous , so for now I will just try and smile more 😊

@AHK99. Do you have any advice or hope for those who can't afford you or the vertical lift? I.e.payment plan, etc. Or is your message, essentially if you're over 50 and not rich, it's all over for us in the looks dept. and to just accept it? While I appreciate your message re don't waste your money on botox and fillers, how about hope on payment options or how one might be able to afford it. I.e. 1 yr /3 yr/ 5 yr / plan or something to at least give us some offer of hope. Or show us how the money wasted on fillers, in addition to x amt. Could equate to vertical lift cost almost. I'm 51 and have only had botox, fillers twice in 2 years. I can't afford vertical lift yet, but I also want to be able to have a professional career without ageism and continue to look like myself. Message of possibility if any would be appreciated

I liked how I looked until I was about 47. I’m 52 now. My neck drives me crazy. Would love to have a facelift but gotta win the lotto first. Such good information here. As a single parent, I can’t afford any of this stuff, even Botox but I guess now I don’t feel so bad. Thank you!
@Star1320Light4 ай бұрын
Single parent, too. Facelift yoga is very effective for jowls specifically. So is facial acupressure. Jowls are easier to fix. The electronic devices also that he says don't use on the face (and is correct) can and probably should be used on the jowls...like red light therapy. The reason not to on the face is we lose valuable facial fat that holds things in place. But the jowls are different...they are excess that stuff. The exercises (free on KZbin ) plus acupressure ($19 course I got for facial acupressure) plus a red light/heat device for jowls (100$) is a potent trifecta. However, you probably don't need all three. Start with one.

Great advice. I'm 65. Just had (today!) a tweaking procedure of my upper Blepharoplasty, lower Blepharoplasty, brow lift. The procedure was just in my upper lids. More skin needed to be removed. So...9 months ago, I opted for ONLY the upper and lower Blepharoplasty and forehead. No facelift, neck, fat transfer, etc. these are all major procedures absolutely is a great idea to do it all at once. However, I did not want to be anesthetized for all of those hours. I'm grateful I did not do it because just the forehead and eyelids plus I had a ptosis repair in my eyelids, which is the muscle that not everybody needs correcting. I did need it. Seems to be some genetic thing in my family. Plus, I cannot afford to do all of that. And my face does not look funny. My eyelids were quite droopy, and it was affecting my vision, so there were other reasons for doing it. I just don't want women to feel like they have to do the entire thing although of course, it makes sense. I wouldn't just do my neck and not do the facelift.

Why isn’t anyone commenting on accepting aging or the emotional and mental suffering imposed on women by our culture’s obsession with youth and beauty? I’m 59. I’d rather spend my money enjoying life. Id rather spend my time meditating on self love. The time, energy, and money spent and the pain endured, especially by women, makes me so sad. I wish you all happiness and full hearts wrinkles and all. You don’t need to look youthful to be (and look) joyful. ❤️

I 100% agree with what you are saying - I’m a 55 year old female - I’m completely sold and contacted your practice very excited thinking I can look 10 years younger however 100k is way over my budget. So it seems only the people who have 100k spare can afford the vertical restore. As a single mum of 3 children it’s difficult for me to have that surplus cash. Your videos and knowledge are amazing and confirm to me that I only want to have you Dr Karam and do not want to go anywhere else for this type of surgery. What can the 90% of your viewers do to look like the people who can afford your procedure ? Surely you have packages or some type of plan for the rest of us. You mentioned you average 20-30 patients per month and if we average this out over 12 months this equals approximately 30 million per year in vertical restore sales which is incredible and you deserve very penny for the happiness you make to peoples lives. I want to feel this too and look 10 yeas younger 😃 thank you 🙏 you have done an amazing job and we are all convinced you are the best so now what do we do??? Thanks you Ellen, Manchester, England
