This is a 5 minute video that anyone facilitating a meeting should watch. Great outline of the facilitation skills that make for great meetings. I've been in many failed meetings that were just a waste of time. I especially liked the skill to go over action items at the end of the meeting and ensure that responsibility and due date are assigned and understood. This really propels a project forward with purpose!

1. Be prepared (subject, objective, things needed for meeting, time allocation) 2. Detailed agenda (objectives & agenda). Send max 2 days prior to meeting. 3. Set ground rules 4. Involve everyone 5. Stay on time (be a time keeper) 6. Action items (responsibility & due date)

Very clear video. Do you have any tips about paraphrasing during workshops? Often what people are trying to communicate is not very clear, or they may not be great public speakers, so the facilitator should help by paraphrasing and confirming what is being expressed.
