Bravo Devi, you hit it on the nail yet again. In my own experience self worth is a simple common sense yet challenging process. The ego is there to protect but unfortunately with no filter or brakes. Just like with Everything it is a matter of balance. Harmony and equilibrium is the goal on a daily basis. Indifference in every situation is key to directing all focus and energy into the action which is needed for true manifestation of all our desires. Being honest with myself was a gamechanger in order to see the selfish fantasy world I was living in fueled by my negative self talk. As with everything it is a process. I need to remind myself that Progress and not perfection is what I have to strive for. Thank you Devi for igniting the flame of self improvement yet again. It's been a while since I've seen one of your videos and it was very needed. The spark in your eyes and the overall vibe of serenity and happiness is so apperant in you. Love and respect from the 915, your admirer, JOSE!

Wouldn't you agree that you can always be confident in God? But God became man, and man is a part of God; therefore, man is God. Once people realize this, they can never lack confidence, for there is nothing greater than God. However, if people don't accept this truth in their hearts, Devis' take on confidence is truly lovely and nice - for the greatest realization of self-worth is to know that you are God.

Yes - there are many aspects of confidence so here referring to self-confidence, in other words how you feel about the self with respect to others. I am God is a tricky statement, it is true in some senses that your soul or consciousness is a part of source energy so God. But the ego also loves to use the statement ‘I am God’ to again built this egoic confidence instead of our believe in truth. I appreciate your additions and perspective, interesting discussion 🙏🏽

What I know about this is... Self-confidence is crucial for success as it enables us to take risks and explore new opportunities. Genuine self-confidence is rooted in understanding our purpose and values, not just external achievements. It leads to respect, responsibility, and integrity, while low self-esteem can cause dependency on others' approval and negative behaviors like gossip and jealousy.True self-confidence is humble, focused on giving, and prioritizes inner fulfillment over external validation. It encourages speaking the truth and doing what's right, even if unpopular. Integrity is key, as it means doing what we know is right regardless of criticism or jokes.Individuals with genuine self-assurance are not concerned with superficial aspects like reputation or material possessions. They prioritize character and giving to others, embodying selflessness for inner fulfillment.

I'm thinking self worth comes from being beneficial in the eyes of your creator, meaning being nice and helpful as much as you can to your surroundings.

It comes from loving yourself and knowing that your being is a fragment of the Divine and Pure Love, which means you will always be a beautiful soul of light and love and that your true nature is that love. The goal of life is to eliminate all aspects of our personality that don’t resonate to love, and to choose who we will be around and what type of thoughts and content (online, reading, etc) we will accept.

Forget trying to build the fake/egoic confidence, look into loving yourself and accepting yourself fully first. Self-love and self-worth are the true confidence. Thanks Devi, I agree with what you said. Looking forward to your next talk regarding this

I only discovered this channel 2 days ago. Of the many others u have, I've probably listened to just one video about 12x times already. I'm trying to move past intellectually understanding a concept and allow what u teach to first marinate in my inner being. So I'm listening to your content, sentence by sentence. You definitely have it sister. Thank You.

i didn't even know that i needed this, i issue with self confidence and self worth cause i doubt and criticize myself a lot, i try to treat people nice , being people pleasure but it also hit me why not anyone treat me this same way, like being nice to be, understand me love me, even though i do have my dear friends but they are usually busy , one line hit me when you said " be nice to yourself ", when you being nice to yourself , accept yourself how you are , your surroundings also starts changing and treat you the way you treat yourself , self talk is really important part your life, just a second ago i was thinking why i'm thinking so negative , i don't want to , i got my answer i guess "be nice to yourself".

Hey, I believe that the Ego is the weakest part of human consciousness, but the most relevant. The subconscious can easily overwhelm us. Because of this, I feel that confidence can be a bit difficult to identify & recognize. I think we are all confident, but it is natural order for our own consciousness to humble us. It protects us to avoid things like self harm and feelings of incompetence. So, I don't think anyone actually literally truly doesn't like themselves. The lack of confidence could maybe be moreso tough love. ❤

Have been following you since a really long long time now. Just felt like saying this... Your last 2 - 3 videos, specially this one is quite different from old ones. Like i get the fact that self worth is important, but how would someone completely detach from the outside world in today's time. I don't wanna come as someone attacking your recent views or something... But just looking for guidance. Bcoz i feel this self care, self health routine etc etc all were smalls goals you take towards manifesting bigger goals... If one cant compare themselves with their older self too then how would he/she grow & proceed towards their goals. Also would want to mention have been a long term admirer of your videos. Looking forward to more. Thanks you! 😊

Amazing realizations Devi, I so much agree with what you are saying that how you talk to yourself is one of the most important things to change your self worth. I have been reading a book which I would really recommend to everyone. It's called " What to say when you talk to yourself" by Shad Helmstetter. Would love to hear your thoughts about this book Devi! Much love to you, Cho

I think the idea that confidence just comes from comparison, though sometimes true, to say it as a blanket statement could also be a projection. Confidence is feeling competent about your skills set, characteristics, or personality. Knowing that you simply are. For example someone who maybe the color green can confidently say they are the color green not because they are more green than someone else, the confidence comes from simply acknowledging who they know themselves to be.
@DeviSietaram
@DeviSietaram 5 ай бұрын
Is a skill, a characteristic and the personality not always a subjective matter - so with respect to others. These are all qualities of the ego. Competence is also completely ego - it is how ‘good’ you are in something. The measure of being good is then a function of how good the rest is, how else would it ‘stand out’. So I stand by my statement.
@loverockstarful
@loverockstarful 5 ай бұрын
@@DeviSietaram I didn’t mean to come off as attacking your statement, and I am not trying make you budge from your stance. I was just sharing that viewing confidence, in my opinion, as a form of comparison may not be the best overall blanket idea to have. This example may be helpful in understanding where I’m coming from: So if we took the skill set of braiding hair, I can confidently say I know how to braid hair. Because I know I am able to weave 3 strands together. Confidently expressing my ability to braid, as one of my skills, isn’t me coming from a place where I only believe in my ability to braid hair because I can do it better than someone else. However, I can see what you’re saying if I instead confidently said “I am the best braider there is.” I will think more about what you have shared, because I’m open to the idea that maybe somehow I’m being closed off.

@Devi Sietaram - Devi, there is a very popular KZbinr called Eva zu Beck. On her Unplugged channel, she expressed the desire to reach out to like-minded females. I hear great similarities between you. She is Polish and speaks fluent English. A collab with her would be fruitful, I think. She's charismatic and introspective. I'd love to see you guys work together.

Yes that it works is certain, even Bali was something I have previously scripted, but I am still finding balance between the negative aspect of manifesting which is an urge of needing to control your life and how much of ego this contains, and rather softly and gently praying from love and the soul whilst surrending to life🙏🏽

I have a doubt, I am in my 20s. I live in asia and we live with our parents until we get married. I am in love with someone and his parents didnt approve and we are currently in minimal contact. My parents want me to get married immediately. I try hard to be positive with affirmations, focusing on my studies and career but they keep seeing new matches for me. I told them not to and I need a year to focus on myself, my studies. They said I am just a trash and my boyfriend is gonna throw me away like a trash and I wont get PG in my career as well. They do this even when i am studying, praying to god. What can I do now?
