I'm almost 100% Hunnic, and my family line for thousands of years have ridden horses, hunted with eagles and falcons, and lived like nomads, total badass people, which is super cool and stuff.... Then there's me. I run away from the tiny parrots in pet smart cages, cry when a segue gets too close to me at the beach for too long, and can barely walk up a flight of stairs without getting winded. My ancestors would be so ashamed of me. 😂

well as a european, the eurasian magpie is extremely common, and they ofcourse have a very pronounced crisp white fluffy looking accents under the wings and white tail accents they have the longest tails of all of the crows, generally taller than the bird itself, and it has this quirky way of wagging that tail up at an interval to keep balance on thinner twigs and clothes lines haha they're common as dirt where i live, i've probably seen 80 today not even really leaving my street i can probably open my back door and hear a couple machine gunning from some rooftop within a minute :') noone can leave the house in this area without the magpies taking notice and clicking it back to others, they see you still trying to befriend a couple lol

Wow, that thing about the eyes is CRAZY! Imagine being able to see the background, the foreground, and everything in between at the exact same time!

My farm dwelling cousins had a pet crow in Maryland when we were young and I have had a fondness for them ever since. They made at least one short film starring Joe Crow that I hope still exists.

big props to you, for facing your fear. i hope you have a close friend who celebrated this victory with you. i have to say, i am almost jealous. you got to hold an american kestrel. it is my favorite bird of prey. i would love to own one, but i can't bear the idea that i would be keeping it from being free.

I'm terrified of birds too. In fact, a pigeon just appeared in my kitchen and you should have heard my scream 😂 well done for facing your fear Brett you are way braver than me

Really proud of you facing your fears/phobias. I don't think I could do that with heights. Except birds don't kill too many people like falling does.

The real title of this video should be Brett conquerors her fear of birds. Brett's film crew develops an instant fear of birds.

Very cool video. I’ve always loved owls and birds of prey. I’ve always thought falconry would be cool to know how to do. God bless you and your family and friends and your crew and staff. Duane.

I have 2 cockatoos. Congratulations for facing an concurring your fear of birds. They are incredible in the sense that they can have way more personality than you would ever expect. My birds are like 3 to 5 year old kids.....all the time. The only difference is that the larger one has enough power in his beak to snip a finger off. That was very intimidating in the beginning, but then his personality came through, and also his trust in me. It wasn't long before I didn't fear him anymore.
