yeah, depending who you ask they're either a foot long or 17 inches. either way its impossible for them to fit in his forearm, even if they sit diagonally inside it. human proportions vary depending on genetics and other growth factors, but typically a human forearm is around 1/8th of your total height, so using his generally agreed upon height of 63 inches (5'3") his claws should be just under 8 inches long. but, since they curve into his arm a fair amount i think rounding up to a full 8 inches is fair enough. frustratingly, there are more depictions of his claws that are close to this length than there are in which they aren't, because the artists for comics have to understand human proportions to draw convincing figures, but the canon length is still stupidly wrong despite there being no real need to lengthen his claws any further. because comics are dumb

What did Wolverine have on his Tumblr account? I'm thinking it's nature photography mostly, he just takes pictures of stuff he saw while hiking with the occasional drunken rant or crazy war story from a hundred years ago because who's telling him to stop? He's become surprisingly good at it, and follows Peter Parker's photography blog too despite one doing cityscapes and the other nature shots. There's also a sizable part of his fanbase who likes the rare hairy topless shot of him chopping wood or what have you, which he uploads purely because of that part of his audience. He likes the thirsty notes they leave.

In their control and armed with a personal teleporter, he managed to take down a SHIELD helicarrier solo, killed many superheroes such as Elektra & Northstar and destroyed half the X-Mansion with the X-Men's Blackbird jet. This event was one of the reasons Wolverine's threat level was significantly raised.

The shield negated enough of the force of the fall that Cap was merely shaken, but not seriously injured. This accounts for his peak human durability and the fact that the ground cracked because the point of impact was so small

I'm playing a D&D campaign at the moment where I'm this Kobold Ranger who believes he's the greatest hunter around, and that any prey he marks he will be able to kill (he has 6 strength and weighs 30 pounds). We have in our party a Goliath, who my Kobold (Named Miek, whoever gets the reference for the name I love you) has determined to be a worthy addition to his pack, and as a pack member, Miek often works with the Goliath to take down larger prey. We do the fastball special all the time, and recently we were able to improve it when the Goliath got a bow from a dragon rider we killed, and now the Goliath can shoot Miek out of a bow to add even more range and damage to the fastball special. Just last session we were fighting giant centipedes (I'm talking CR 20 creatures here big enough to wrap around and destroy houses and shit) and Miek upon seeing them put a hunters mark on one, and told the Goliath to shoot him at it. After succesfully attacking and mounting the creature, the only reason Miek wasn't able to continue his assault and kill the creature was because it used a legendary action to fear him, and Miek failed the Charisma save (he has -1 Charisma). Really good campaign right now, and every time I play a small character from now on I will be trying to find a way to incorporate the fastball special with whoever is strongest.

I always kind of wondered what the backstory was (if there even is one) for the shape of his claws when covered in adamantium. That whole thing about wolverine having a sybiote. There was a spiderman game called web if shadows. Basically half the city gets turned into sybiotes. One of them being wolverine. You literally have a boss fight where you're up against a sybiote version of wolverine

I lived in Cold Lake, AB for many years. I remember reading Origin when it came out (where the northern AB location he grows up in isn’t specified) and thought to myself, “hey, wouldn’t it be cool if...” They officially decided it about 15 yrs later. When I found out, I joked that it wouldn’t be long before some local artist tries to get permission to erect a statue in town.
