OK lets stop this stupidity. The loss of life caused by the bombs was terrible. However the loss of life from the invasion of Japan would have been far worse. And before anyone says that I'm exaggerating I would like to point out that the Japanese were literally arming women and children to defend the homeland (some stories say with sharp sticks but I'm not sure I believe that). Also as you pointed out the US is far from benevolent in any of its actions, and the primary concern for the US government are US lives and that invasion would have cost hundreds of thousands. One more little known fact, the US literally dropped thousands of leaflets over Nagasaki and Hiroshima days prior to the bombs warning people about what they were going to do (no specific timetables of course) and telling them to evacuate. And the the Japanese government told the people that these were scare tactic and to ignore them. So to summarize, the destruction caused by the bombs was terrible however experts (both now and back then) agree that the loss of life from the invasion and subjugation of Japan would have been far higher than anything the bombs could have done.

The funny thing about Thicczilla is that, while he is an absolute unit, he is actually relatively accurate in terms of how a creature of that size would form, because having such huge thighs makes it easier to hold up all that mass which makes him even harder to knock down too, making him even more of a unit

Godzilla wins hands down a Death battle with the Megazord. The Toho reboot gave a massive power boost and the Dino Megazord and the Ninja Megazord are two completely different Megazords. Even if they merged continuities the original Megazord has no canon crotch kick. It would need to use the BOOM comics canon to even the playing field.

The original G suit weight was closer to 200lbs not 50 also; they didnt have anything like foam latex in Japan for quite some time. The suit was comprised of rubber, bamboo, chicken wire, as well as other odds and ends. The first version was so stiff that they ended up cutting it in half and wearing the botton portion with suspenders just to film the feet without passing out under the hot studio lights. Haruo Nakajima was hardcore!

Daniel Schafer That version of Godzilla is not canon. However Toho made a near identical creature named Zilla for Godzilla Final Wars where it was killed in a totally dismissive manner by Godzilla. To show what they thought of the movie. For all intents and purposes Zilla is meant to be the same creature but due to copyright issues is not the same one and the 98 movie is not canon. It's implied to have happened anyway but due to the legal issues the actual 98 movie cannot be tied to the Toho ones regardless of how they feel. They did however bring Zilla back in a movie called Godzilla Battle for Earth. It apparently puts up a decent fight against the OG this time and has its own distinct fighting style. It also gets a few kills on generic villain monsters before Godzilla kills it. They did a video on this not long ago but they missed the part about Toho bringing Zilla back for a second movie and treating it as a proper monster instead of an intentional mockery. I only found out when I looked it up to see if they were right about the legal issues resulting in Zilla and 98 Godzilla being counted as seperate creatures. They were. Edit: The page I got my info from was wrong. Zilla did make a second appearance but in a comic not a movie. The page I originally read failed to note this and gave an incorrect name. Zilla reappears in Godzilla: Rulers of Earth but not connected to the version in Final Wars, just the same monster in an unrelated plot like they did many other times over the years.

If you think about it... considering how huge Godzilla is, the sheer massive thickness of his thighs are necessary. And the thickness of his tail also makes sense. The amount of muscle and bone mass he'd need just to stand... can't even imagine it. The fact that he kind of narrows out from the waist up towards the head would help on saving mass and keep him from being too top heavy. Don't know the exact science but it seems right anyways.

To answer the Godzilla vs Megazord question before I see Karl's answer, Godzilla in most versions stomps(Legendary, Shin and basically every version after the original, Final Wars Godzilla is overkill and could possibly take on 5 Megazords at once and win with mild difficulty.) Only version that Megazord wins 10/10 against is the Zilla not worthy of being a God.

1998 Godzilla actually is now owned by Toho (Can't remember if they got ownership by buying it or suing Fox for screwing up Godzilla) and made it an actual Godzilla canon monster called Gojira and made it a non-Godzilla kaiju monster just so Tohos Godzilla can destroy the Amercan version because, acclrding to Toho, "that is not the real Godzilla"
