One of the few intelligent, independent-minded actresses that refused to be controlled by the studios or go through the required couch-casting in order to have her career advanced. Hughes was a serial predator of young actresses just starting out in the business. When foreign (to America) actors are involved, there's always a controversy over pronunciation. People, think about it. There will, of course, always be two different pronunciations -- the American version and, in this case, the Italian version. The narrator used both. In the first instance of her using Gina's last name was correct, according to American standards. For the rest of the video, she pronounced it as Italians do. Italians (almost) always enunciate the second last syllable of almost any name or word. So she is correct in using that Italian pronunciation. Not a BFD. 😅
