@@AntiElitz If Nefrums puts irritating stuff like the one at 00:45:46 in his video, you might find the time to put something actually useful in. His stuff is mostly paid up front, but if you put the recipes in, you'd probably gain quite a few subs over time. There _might_ even be a volunteer among your fans who could do it for you... BTW, the randomized race is the one I enjoy the most. Almost as wacky as the base swap, but 100% fair, and with fewer distractions. No "What could he have hidden in here to screw me up?" thoughts, no "What could I do to screw him up next time?" either, just improvisation and mastery of Factorio gameplay. Even the biter attacks tend to come in at the same time, at least at the main base, if the environs haven't been sanitized yet. For the record, the "50%" race is another fave of mine, even though it lacks the wackiness of Bingo, Swap, or Random, or the thrill of Death World. A very simple change with huge implications.

This could have been better if iron plates were made from wood instead of iron ore. Imagine the playthrough.

That wood be hilarious, but some recipes are fixed for a reason. For example, wood is a finite resource, and in a desert map, it's too hard to get in quantity. There could always be exceptions for special stuff you only need once, e.g. for a rocket silo. _Fish_ would be even funnier, but imagine a game with the setting "no water except starting area" and a tiny starting lake that has been fished dry. OTOH, one could write a mod that doesn't use fish as a resource if water has been disabled. A _wooden_ rocket silo could be funny tho, even if you were in a desert and had to race around a lot to collect it.

A good task: have 1GW energy production capacity, thay'll have to chose how they want to achieve it. Another one: find an ore patch with more than 25M (adjustable) total ores and place a pole on it (planting the flag) or have a working miner on it.

If I was to do this one, I would do Logi bots based builds. Seems a lot more sane that lots of random assemblers and spaghetti... but not as fun

Logistic bots require yellow science though. And once you are there the rocket isn't that far anymore.

Imagine a situation where one user gets a rocket part recipe which needs several high level modules or science packs and the other gets something trivial like copper ore+coal+iron ore. As long as all players get the same recipes, I like this race even more for its wackiness than base swap.

könnte mit bitern schwierig werden, je weiter du vom Mittelpunkt weggehst, desto mehr und schwerer werden die Gegner ( bigger bases and big or behemoth worms instead of small bases with small or medium worms) und die ore patches sind weiter voneinander entfernt als die starterpatches.
