Well that was a real treat. I worked at the New Gretna plant in 75. I was there when the water tower was installed. Our welders welded the halves together. The place really grew.. good for them. Their boats are the best

When I was younger I used to go down there to swim and boat. The place we would swim was right acriss from Viking. It was so cool to see the new vessels in the water.

Good video and looks like great boats. Did not know that any high end boat manufacturer still used wood

If you had to cover a long distance in a viking and there wasent a fuel stop in between, could you displacement cruise to cover the distance.

New subscriber, great stuff!!! I have been trying to get with Viking who I love, or a few others as a delivery captain for them, do you happen to know of anyone? Thanks, Capt Steve

I love how the Borg/AI shows videos of toys for the 1% are made. Let us show you something that you will never have, or even get close to in your lifetime. Watch and weep.

Why do all modern boats look like bland Clorox bottles?
@briansprock2248 Жыл бұрын
1x 35 open fishermen, with no luxury stuff please. Just as basic as possible. Not even a gen set, no ice maker. Just fishing and nav electronics. No tower. Only wood in the cockpit. Ahh and one set of throthles in the cockpit. 22 to 24 kts cruise is fine. And will you take an I owe you note as a guarrantee for payment? Or I'll take you fishing when you come over. I am almost sure I can arrang some decent accomodation.

The fact that they still core with balsa is a joke. Multi million dollar boats built with crap material that almost no one else uses is unacceptable.
Unacceptable to who? You? 🙄 You must a peach to live with. Go buy from a different builder.
@Johnonayacht11 ай бұрын
@jonbutton3259 it's called a different opinion, and I did. So tell Mr. Genius why there aren't any other builders who still core with balsa?
@rikkimcguire87856 ай бұрын
I know many who use balsa. Our boats from 30 years ago are still fine. It’s build quality and procedures not the product.
@bradfordhughes45336 ай бұрын
That's a gorgeous boat personally I wouldn't use balsa but he's the builder I prefer boats with no wood but to each his own Viking hs been around a long time 😊
