one minute they're wrapping bare electrical unsoldered wires with electrical tape and out of nowhere you got a complete car. amazing!

Wrapped splices with loose electrical tape over it, I would expect this from china but not South Korea.

@@JerryBiehler There must be some better connection made that's not shown, right!?

@ not sure. But why wrap electrical tape around it if they were going to go back and solder it or something. Really should have been soldered and heat shrink.

No captions?? 😢 they were the best part of the video!

Guessing he adds those later

The best part is the video itself, but the infrequent captions *are* missed.

Thanks that is an interesting process. I’ve never seen a wiring harness made before and it was ok but had some unusual splicing methods.

Unusual?? Twisted wire and tape? Complete crap!
@ChuckKirchner-se6ib17 күн бұрын
With those "wire splices", that's an electrical fire waiting to happen. Kinda ruins the excellent build quality of the rest of it.
@DCTriv17 күн бұрын
Yh, real shoddy compared to the rest.

Anyone else cringing at the wire connections? Just twisted and wrapped with tape - no clamps, no solder. Yikes.

But they used sealed connectors at the ends 🤣 By the way, it looks like those hand-crimped contacts are also as reliable as those twisted splices.

It's crazy I would expect to find that in a 30 year old repaired shitbox Datsun. Not a new vehicle.

1 Step up from those tuktuk in Pakistan videos, just cutting steel on the floor with a death wheel, couple of quick tack welds, eeek!
