Blair is probably one of my top 3 favorite sitcom characters. Lisa's such an underrated comedic actress, rewatching the show and noticing how funny she was as Blair really highlights how her sense of humor should be talked about more. Plus I really like her accent.

I have been rewatching the show these past few weeks and i couldn’t agree more! I think it’s a big part of why Blair is such a lovable character, if she were just a snob it would be hard to like her. But Lisa is such a gifted comedic actress, specially at physical comedy too, that you can’t help but love Blair (by the way it’s a shame that Lisa is not on a sitcom nowadays)

I think Lisa is wrong about Blair. She had some major character development. I think Jo brought her down to earth. They had an incredible friendship and stuck up for one another. Yes she is into money and clothes but there was another side to her.

I thought Blair grew a lot throughout the series. I'm surprised to hear her say that she didn't think Blair would evolve. By the way, Lisa Whelchel, you look fantastic! You should write a beauty book.

I agree with you about the character of Blair evolving during the course of the show, but I would say by the present time, Blair as an adult would now be superficial again. Very much about her lifestyle, and outward impressions.

I agree that Blair grew -- b/c her character became sisterly, and that softened her "only me" exterior. I think Blair would still reflect those changes today; like so many women she may have gotten married, done the "material big house thing", but then gotten divorced and had to lean on her sisters again!

She's still a hottie. Funny how her big '80s hair went away and she went back to how it looked when The Facts of Life started. If they reboot it, I would have Blair lose her all money when her ex-husband squandered it and have Jo now be the rich one from a successful startup company. Do a role reversal. Jo has hired Tootie and Natalie to work for her and then Blair has to be forced to admit she's broke and needs a job also.
