Not really significant, but here’s mine: When Henry went to crewe, the workmen repainted him into green because they weren’t given any other references. Upon his return, Sir Topham Hatt wanted to paint him blue again. This time, Henry was adamant about his paint being green. Topham remembered how he let James be painted red, and so let Henry (and all future engines) pick their livery. This explains why engines like Duck got modified liveries, and even why some TVS engines, like Molly, had outlandish liveries.

Here’s a headcanon I have regarding the A.W.Dry & Co. and how it connects to the Crovans Gate Fire. When the North Western Railway was formed and when they were working to expand Crovans Gate Works, Sir Topham Hatt the first gave the position of chief mechanical engineer to Richard William Dry(the son of Alfred William Dry, the founder of the company) Richard held this position for many years until mid 1930 when it was revealed that Richard had made a ton of shady business decisions. As a result, STH revoked his position as Chief Mechanical Engineer, as an act of revenge Richard went to Crovans Gate works late in the night and lit the building ablaze which Resulted in the loss of records, engine parts, and the W&S No.3. Richard was arrested on charges of arson and later took his life in his cell by swallowing a cyanide pill. So yeah, make of that what you will.

Marklin Headcanon: The Fat Controller bought him from Germany sometime in the1930s and his job was to shunt trains at the yards for the other engines, but then since the Fat Controller bought more engines to do his jobs, He decided to send him away to the other railway and was scrapped during modernisation

In 1929 an explosion blew up a dockyard in New York City took out many peoples lives and a crane as well that crane was known as Big Mickey The crane was lifted out of the waters and was sent to a repair yard in Britain however the great depression left the company with a little money to repair him quickly and overtime he was forgotten about. In 1948 a harbor on Sodor called Brendam harbor was being Rebuilt the fat controller went to a crane Works on the mainland and bought the remains of the crane he built him from the ground up. However Big Mickey would Barely remember his time In America and never really spoke either thanks to such bad trauma.

@@railfandepotproductions watch the first episode it takes place in the 1920s however assuming how it also seems to be the great depression at the time it either takes place in 1928 or 29. and considering the following season script revealed that diesel tug was going to be introduced which wasn’t built until the 30s. My head canon is that it’s 1929.

@@LMS5935 I have a reason for one of the abandoned buildings, in pirate, the pirate tugs are hiding in an abandoned warehouse. The warehouse in question once being owned by MI(Mitton industries)which deals with the creation of explosives and munitions and the warehouse is clearly in bigg city so for safety reasons the warehouse was shut down

My head canon is that Emily was part of the S&M railway and was kept on sodor because of them being desperate for engines. Another head canon is that Henry was built at an Robison Atlantic but was rebuilt into a Robinson B4 after his kipper crash.

Here’s my headcanon: Puffa and the Marklin Engine are the same character. Marklin is a BR 80, and so is Puffa, with American modifications. Tugs takes place in 1920, and Thomas and Gordon, the first appearance of the Marklin Engine, takes place in 1924 if we’re to go off of the RWS timeline. We know season 2 of Tugs would’ve taken place upriver, so Bigg City Port could’ve gone bankrupt, and the railway could’ve sold some engines. I think an engine-desperate Sir Topham Hatt bought Puffa and brought him to Sodor, giving him British modifications.

I like your headcanon, but there's just _one small problem_ with it: The BR 80's weren't built until 1927, so if Tugs takes place in 1920, then Puffa and Marklïn cannot be the same character, as Marklïn physically _cannot_ exist at that point in time, without _severely_ screwing up the timeline.

Head canons 1. Marklin was a German spy bought by the fat controller in 1940 2. The TVS models are more accurate than the RWS illustrations 3. The Skarloey Railway bought a third engine to help with the workload. The engine was Proteus but he fell off the bridge and was never seen again. When the Skarloey Railway bought Sir Handel and Peter Sam, Sir Handel replaced Proteus’s number. 3. Freddie worked on the Mid Sodor and was sold to a private collector after the MSR closed, who died in 1992 Freddie was bought and restored by the Skarloey Railway in 1994. 4. The TVS crew went to Sodor so they could could make accurate models because of the inaccurate RWS illustrations 5. The fat controller went to a rail museum in 1999 and saw Emily in it, who was the only engine in the museum who really didn’t like being a static display. So the fat controller bought her.

In my head canon, The Fat Director still had his mechanical skills even as director and was able to fix Thomas’s braking problems after his troubles with the trucks.

My Headcanons 1.Percy was named after one of the Horses when Sodor's only railway was "The Railroad" 2.Rosie and Billy work on Thomas' Branchline *Billy has changed his ways* 3.Emily sometimes works on the Little Western and will fill in for Duck or Oliver if one of them is ill or away. and 4.Henry and Murdoch are best friends.

Here are some of my headcanon: 1. Rebecca and Nia will be added to the NWR differently. Rebecca is a Mainland engine who was filling in for Henry when he and the other seven famous engines are going to London. She enjoys the Sudrian engines’ company after the adventures she occasionally has on Sodor. 2. Nia has been treated horribly over in Kenya by a Abusive Controller. Edward decides to take her with to Sodor while visiting there, out of kindness. On Sodor, she is repainted orange with yellow stripes and works on Edward’s branchline, making deliveries for the Animal Park alongside with Ashima. 3. Hiro came to Sodor in 1939 (Three weeks before WWII), abandoned in 1942, found, restored and sent back to Japan in 1973 and came back in 2009. 4. Lady is not a magical engine instead: She was built from scratch at Croven’s Gate Works. She was a successful design due to her large firebox. Despite being built from an another person: she considered Henry as her brother and she always had her movie livery. 5. Henry, ‘Careless Clarkson’ aka 98462 (Robinson Class B5) and ‘Pesky Preston’ aka 87546 (LNER D49) were built in the same factory on the mainland. Clarkson and Preston were successful because they were built from stolen blueprints. The authorities found out about the shady building of all three engines, but as Henry was under the first Fat Controller's protection, he was safe. 98462 and 87546 were scrapped as their building was illegal. 6. Pandora (Gender-swapped Proteus) is a chosen guardian who guides lost souls to the right path. 7. Vicarstown DieselWorks is just a secondary repair yard that repairs all types of locomotives which was abandoned in WWI and restored in 1975. 8. The Steam Team members sleep at different sheds instead of one. Thomas, Percy, Toby sleep at Ffarquhar Sheds with Rosie and Lady, Nia and Ashima have a small dual berth shed next to the Animal Park, Edward has always slept at Wellsworth with Molly and Gordon, Henry, James and Emily sleep at Knapford with Murdoch and Neville. 9. Diesel 10 acts more like his villain persona in his post-villain appearances. 10. Thomas’ logical reason to go on a world tour is to promote the movie: Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure. I think that’s all I can say Edit: ‘Pesky Preston’ (87546) is now based on LNER K3

Here are two headcanons: 1. Gordon arrived on Sodor before the Henry's Tunnel incident (Dating it to 1923, which technically contradicts the books by a year.) I just think it's weird how Gordon seems to know who Henry is in the books without canonically ever meeting him yet. I also think that Henry felt betrayed and replaced by The Fat Controller for buying Gordon, and therefore had even more reason to shut himself in the tunnel. I just think this headcanon adds a lot more emotional weight to an otherwise rather silly story. 2. "The Sudrian" has been a once-daily express service on the Northwestern Railway since 1920, when Thomas and Edward pulled the first express train on the line. It begins at Tidmouth, and its destination alternates daily between London Euston and Plymouth (There is an engine change at Barrow.) "The Wild Nor' Wester" was created in 1935, when The Fat Controller and the Controller of an American Railroad (This is a headcanon still in development) formed the Northwestern Steamship Company, which sailed from Bigg City, North Carolina to Tidmouth, Sodor. "The Wild Nor' Wester" was a boat train service that ran from London St. Pancras to Tidmouth, with an engine change at Barrow, and in the US, it ran from Chattanooga (Headcanon still being developed) to Bigg City. In 1956, due to declining passenger numbers, the Northwestern Steamship Co. moored their ships as floating hotels at Tidmouth Harbor, with Bigg City port being closed down (Its small fleet of tugboats were bought by the NWR and were dispersed to ports across the island.) After this, "The Wild Nor' Wester" became a normal twice-daily express run, usually pulled by Gordon until 2011, when Pip and Emma took over.

Here are some of my headcanons : 1. Like in the Talyllyn Railway , the Skarloey Railway holds an Awdry Extravaganza-esque event. 2. Emily and Edward and 2 other Atlantics from the L&YR were the NWR's main line serviced Engines. One of these Atlantics was 98462. 3. Percy is actually built by Hudswell Clarke instead of Avonside and has a bare resemblence to no. 750 , preserved at , Staveley. He was overhauled by Crovan's gate with a coal bunker for longer train runs. 3. Spencer actually runs express trains from King's Cross to Tidmouth and he is also purchased by the NWR and becomes the NWR's no. 13 , but carries an LNER number 2513 as a Silver Jubilee tribute. 3. Thomas never recieved a flat running board after breakfast , this is because this would lower the footplate and would make maintainence under the chassis more inconvenient. 4. Sir Handel and Peter Sam both wear MSR liveries , ocassionally. 5. Daisy is Gloucester Class 122 instead of a BR Class 101. 6. Gordon is just straight up an A1 , built the same time as Great Northern. But instead of being rebuilt into a Stanier design or a Thompson design , he was rebuilt into an A3. 7. The Tidmouth Harbour buys two USA dock tanks called Tilly and Lilly to work as Dock shunters. 8. The Express doesn't stop at Barrow , it continues to St. Pancras but not before stopping at Manchester. Like, Gordon is a 3 cylinder pacific that can do 500 mile runs. The NWR's Main Line is like 90 miles long. 9. James is just a standard L&YR class 28 0-6-0 but after his infamous crash was rebuilt into a 2-6-0 to counter top-heavy issues. 10. The Diesel we see in Series 2 and 3 isn't the same Diesel that we see throughout the rest of the show , hence why he doesn't really have the identical persona of the Diesel we all love seeing. 11. Ivo Hugh was actually rebuilt from an Andrew Barclay 0-4-0WT that worked on the Bórd Na Móna company in Ireland ( my home ). On the Skarloey his original name was Oíbrí Crúa bit was renamed Ivo Hugh. 12. To modernize the Railway , the Culdee Fell buys two Ruston and Hornsby diesels in 1984. 13. A railway museum was built at Vicarstown in 1974 , some of its rolling stock include the TK&ELR Coffee Pots , Neil and one the W&SR 0-6-0ST. 14. The NWR buys two Larger Seagulls to build the Railway in 1914 known as Black Prince ( now known as Edward ) , and Westmore. Westmore was lost when the ground caved in on him and he was never recovered. The LMS try to cover this up by stating he was scrapped. 15. Gordon was also sent on tour to America alongside Flying Scotsman , under the temporary ownership of Alan Pegler. On tour he and Scotsman were both nearly lost. But alas , the came back home.

Everyone has there own Headcanons and there is always at least one Headcanon that fits so well! I have some that I will put further below. I think your best headcanons here are for the reason behind Diesel's name and why Murdoch has the livery that he does even though I personally don't like it very much but at least that's the best explanation I've heard! I'm working on a Headcanon about the Wellsworth and Suddery engines. I believe they are contractor engine's built by Manning Wardle belonging to either the Old I class or K class 0-6-0s built by Manning Wardle in the 1860s and 1870s. I like to think at at least one was an LNWR Special Tank. Another Headcanon I have is that I like to follow Awdry's usage of real life engine's and events. And so I will tell you all right now that Sodor really did experience a nuclear fallout. But it did not happen on July 4, 1973 in Tidmouth Thunderbolt's AU; the real "Sodor Fallout" happened on October 10, 1957 when a fire broke out at the Windscale facility at the Sellafield nuclear plant. Finally, here is one for my fellow Whovians. Following the introduction of Professor River Song in Doctor Who, the River Hoo on the eastern side of Sodor has become a popular meeting spot for the Sudrian Whovians.

Here is my headcanon about Thomas: Thomas was built in Brighton, he was one of the e2 with an extended tank, but it also had an expanded coal bunker, and it was "experimental". He had no name or number, he was painted black, once his stoker jokingly called him "number 70". In 1915, NWR leased Thomas. But the LB&SCR didn't want Thomas to come back, and he was recorded as "lost in the war", and NWR had to buy it, he helped with the construction of NWR and so became number 1. He was painted blue in NWR and given the number 1, but he still didn't have a name. Around the time Henry arrived, Thomas was finally given a name. And here's for Alfred and Crovan: 98462 and 87546 had no names, but they gave themselves the names "Alfred" and "Crovan" so as not to be constantly called by their number, they were sent away in 1924. In fact, 87546 told Henry a story, and because of this, Henry became frightened and was locked in a tunnel. For Marklin: Marklin is a German steam locomotive, NWR rented it during the locomotive crisis, he was sent away in 1931. For Hiro: Hiro was bought in the 1930s, he worked with other locomotives on the NWR, but he was abandoned in 1941 in an old forest, around 1943 a bomb fell next to him and he partially lost consciousness, so in the 1970s he told to Thomas, that he(Hiro) is the first engine on Sodor. I have more, but I'm tired of writting this comment.

I've got two headcanons I wouldn't mind sharing. The first is that Jinty and pug were purchased outright by Tfc from British railways, and this is why the problem of the big station's pilot i s never bought up after duck leaves for the little western, because Jinty and pug have been whinging there since 1955. Jinty is painted and green & red stripes, while pug is painted a light purple with black stripes. He also purchased the engine who filled in for henry, ex- southern railway q1 33010, who is of core nevill. The second headcanon is that on his way home from holiday/buying Douglas in the deputation, the fat controller rode on an express pulled by Stanier princess royal no: 46212 "duchess of kent" the fat controller was so impressed by the engines performance and manners, that he does the express all the way to London, purchased kent, and drove him back to sodor himself. Kent now helps Gordon with express runs, and has been repainted back into one crimson, with his original one number, 6212.

Clay pits Timothy Head canon: After Fergus got buried in the rockslide in Bill Ben and Fergus, he he stayed at the quarry for 4 years and was sent to Crew in 2007 for a complete overhaul and Came back in 2013 with a new name and a new shape. Once back on Sodor he stated the clay pits permanently.

My own ideas: 1) Thomas is part of a class known as the E2X, which was a heavily modified version of the original design. He was originally known just as 113, and got his name when his fireman on Sodor dated Mrs. Kindley's daughter, whose brother was named Thomas. 2) Edward is a former W&S locomotive, and one of only three surviving alongside William ("Billy") and Charlette ("Charlie"). 3) Henry was rebuilt not into a Black five, but instead an experimental "Black 6" 4-6-2. 4) Gordon regularly ran from Tidmouth to Manchester until BR steam ended in 1974. 5) An alternate cold war led to an oil crisis when the Soviets ditched east Asia to instead set up Soviet puppets in the Middle east and northeast Africa. This caused an oil crisis which is partly why steam in the UK lasted into the early 70s. 6) Toby is not owned by the NWR, but rather by the Anopha Quarry Tramway. He is also a Y6 and not a J70. 7) Molly was a friend of Toby's in his days in East Anglia. This led to her becoming the NWR No.7 per Toby's recommendation when Edward recieved the overhaul detailed in "Old Iron".

Here are some of my headcanon of Thomas . Two of them . Smugder was found on the arsdale railway but he wasn't scrap't he joined the skarloey railway and works with sir Handel Peter Sam duke and Bertram and duncan also helps them from time to time. Percy one's was a prototype and was going to be scraped but the fat director saved him from scrap and became the number six on the Nwr railway because his favorite number was six! Also great video scrapyard studios!

Lol I thought I was the only one who noticed similarities between Murdoch and Stepney's livery. Also I have a headcannon: In the WWII STH purchased several WD Austerities and USATCH S160 for war effort, they carried the number 7 - 11, but then they were deceased and was scrapped, a few years later STH bought some engines, which includes Toby, Duck, Donald, Douglas, Oliver and then they all carried the number 7 - 11 as a memory of those who died in the war

The reasoning why henry was once blue,had a gwr castle class funnel,and square buffers is because after the tunnel incident where he need a new coat of paint but at the time there is only blue.the reason why he got a gwr castle class funnel is because after he sneezed at the boys who where throwing rocks at the coaches his funnel got cracked and need a temporary replacement.the reason why he got square buffers is because when he have crashed onto some buffers which resulted he need new buffers

Here's My Headcanon on Sixteen The Austerity Tank Engine From Wilbert's Story: After Wilbert's Visit on Sodor, The Fat Controller Promised Himself, He'll Get an Austerity Tank Engine For His Railway and He Actually Did. He Found Out About Sixteen and Bought Him For a Trial. Despite His Rude Behavior, Sir Topham Hatt Decided To Let Him Stay, Because of How Good He Was. Sixteen's Attitude Became Lees Rough Over Time and He Was Rewarded With a New Coat of Paint and a Surprise. When Wilbert Visited Sodor Again, He Was Introduced To an Austerity Tank Engine, That Was Painted In North Western Green With a Number 16 on His Sides and Had Nameplates With "Sheffield" Written on Them. ;)

Fun fact: did you know that the North Western Railway has eighty (80) locomotives. We know The steamies 1-11, Daisy, BoCo, Bear, The Works Diesel, Pip and Emma are some of them but we don't know the other engines.

Heres my headcannon and its a little sad. Edward was loaned from the Furness Railway in 1914 and worked on the N.W.R for only a few months. During his stay he made several close bonds with engines like Emily (1883-1916), No.3 (A lnwr precedent class built in 1889 and scrapped in 1930), No. 2 (A lnwr dx goods built in 1865 and scrapped in 1930) and of course Thomas. Later that year he was returned back to the F.R and was sadly withdrawn and scrapped in 1931 along with his siblings. For my next headcannon the T.K.E.R and the W&S merged in 1902 with all of the engines and rolling stock from both conpanies working on the line.

I imagine Percy was based on 'Trojan' and would have probably worked at Cardiff for a while where he would have worked alongside Trojan, as well as 1338 and 1339 before coming to Sodor.

98462 in my head canon is a Robinson Atlantic it makes sense the fat Controller did want a Robinson Atlantic instead got Henry so when he went into the tunnel the fat controller had a perfect opportunity to buy such an engine.

My HC on our Mean Green Nature Loving Bean, Henry was built in 1920 as an experimental 2-6-2 prarie tender engine for the GWR, numbered 1900, he had multiple steaming issues, as his firebox was too small, he spent a few years pulling trains( and obvisously failing to do so)for the GWR until 1923, when he was sold to the NWR as their next express engine, GWR #102, "Emelia La France " was the current express engine, replacing NWR #2, "Edward Ivatt", Henry proved a very determined engine, but his steaming problems caused..well..problems, so welsh coal was brought in and it did the trick, but it wasn't enough, so in 1929, other engines were brought in to help, including an LNER Raven A2 named "Audrey", numbered 98462, an experimental LMS 2-8-0, numbered 87546, ANOTHER LMS engine named "Sir Alled Greedy" and an LNER J11 named "Scarlet", these engines took over most of the trains, leaving poor Henry to sit in the shed, with barely any work to do, Edward, Emily, Thomas, Scarlet and Timothy(yes he exists)tried to comfort the green engine, but with the loaned engines always teasing him, Henry's self confidence only kept on falling, until, a new engine was brought in for the express, LNER #4470 "Gordon(Great Northern)Gresley", he stood up for Henry and chased away all the other engines, even 87546, the 2 engines evern formed an alliance(that they still have today), time had passed until WW2 rolled around, the engines were worked to the frames, trying to help with evacuations, but in 1943, is when Henry's life would change forever, the night of December 25th. Henry was sent to pull the Flying Kipper to Manchester, he started off well and was keeping good time, until they saw something that made Henry's boiler run dry, a goods train parked on the line ahead, Henry's driver threw on the brakes, but it wasn't enough to stop in time. The Fat Director decided to send him back to Swindon to be rebuilt, Henry came back as GWR King Class, now given a proper name, "King Henry The VIII", now he didn't have to worry about steaming issues, Henry's still in his new shape to this day. Some of my headcanons 1.The reason why Caroline breaks down on fast speed is because she used to work on a strike and the vehicles were calling here "black wheel".She had enough and crashed in a pond,almost damaging her engine.On a race she near exploded and she had to be overhauled for 2 years.She does not talk about it 2.Percy has 5 siblings. There names are Josh,Elisa,Lily,Gerald and Chris they were sent to different parts of the GWR 3. In my headcanon thomas has 600 siblings because they were sent to the LNER to get there problems right the LNER decided to help the LBCSR and made 600 engines for each class of engine 4.There are 10 E4s on sodor.They work different parts of the NWR 5. In 1968,a new branch called killworth with 16 number 1 call jason went missing but was found in 1978 6.Engines can have relationships with other engines which are Thomas and emily Eddie no one Henry and BB(Big bertha) Gordon and Rebecca James and rosie And lots of other relationships

Here’s one of my head cannons that I have for pug. After the events of eight famous engines Pug went back to BR. He was withdrawn from service and laid in the scrapyard for only two days. Until sir Topham hat 2nd safe pug by purchasing him and let Percy pick them up and send him to Crove’s Gate works to be mended to be tidmout shunter.

In my headcanon/AU Gordon actually derailed after colliding with the rear of ducks train in bye George, resulting in 47 passengers being injured (19 severely) George was reported as sold afterwards, likely being sold for scrap after his constant ride and prejudiced actions towards the engines, with this accident being the final straw

I have Headcanons For Edward, James and Percy: Edward: Edward has a Brummie accent,due to Working with an engine From Birmingham, Edward's Real Name is Hammond, but he doesn't Go by it, Unless He does Something wrong or Crashes, Where Someone Will Yell out: *H A M M O N D ! !* (hehe Top Gear Reference hehe) Percy: He's a 7 year old with A Welsh Accent, Dyslexia, ADHD And Level 2 Autism, He *ALWAYS* has To Be Supervised By Either Thomas or Edward, or things... *Get a little Outta Hand* But he does it very rarely, so sometimes he isn't supervised, Gordon likes To Scare Him, He's mainly Supervised by James. James: He's a 32 year old With Anxiety and ADHD, He's From Newcastle, but he was Built in Edinburgh, when He Derailed, He Developed Anxiety, Anything on he's paint dirt, Scratches anything, He will have a Anxiety Attack and Start Freaking out, he Mainly Spends his Days, In his Shed.

I also have a Headcanon, on the Marklin locomotive During the second world war between 1939 and 1941, the Fat Controller was in crisis over a new locomotive, at that same time the German army invaded part of Arlesburgh harbor and Brendam Docks Landing your own Engines Landing their own engines, they brought 3 BR-089 class engines, which were destroyed by the Sudrian army. They believed that you had destroyed the 3 Engines, however one of these Engines was left abandoned near Ballahoo and was discovered by Edward and told the Fat Controller. The Fat Controller was so desperate for a new engine that he secretly rescued it used it to move trucks and wagons in Vicarstown, finally in 1945 the engine was scrapped

I have a headcanon Emily served on the Sodor and Mainland Railway and was bought in 1878 for the Preposed Express Service to Barrow-In-Furness, she was numbered S&M No.4. In 1901 after the S&M closed Emily was bought by the Crovan’s Gate Mining Company along with Neil. In 1915 Emily was Bought By the North Western Railway to help Edward and Eagle On The Wild-Nor-Wester and In 1920 she was put on Light Passenger Trains. But, in 1925 Emily was put in an old shed at Kirk Ronan. In 1953 she was restored by Sir Topham Hatt I and put to work on Local Trains and Emily was given NWR No.13.

I have a head cannon that henry fears he will end up being Ill and underperforming like he was before his rebuild. And he likes his Forrest because it calms him down and makes him forget that fear. I have another about Thomas. I have a head cannon that Thomas isn't actually an E2 but a one off build based on the E2's with elements of other tank engines (jinty, terrier, etc) And he only worked at vicarstown or barrow as a pilot before being moved to tidmouth/knapford Kinda stupid I know but eh..

My headcanon is that freddie is a mid sodor engine but is not seen in RWS and in classic series because was sold off with Jim, Albert and others. He was sold to The sodor aluminium co. But in 1948 he Had an accident horribly damaging his valve gear and cab. Due to postwar crisis company dont Have Money to overhaul him and left him in the shed. In 1950 this area of the works closed and current director of the Company retires. After the crisis son of the previous becames director and decides to expand south near Peel godreed. Poor freddy was abandoned and rusted. In 1999 sodor construction Company decides to participate in peel godreed expansion to north. Freedy was found after alfie accidentaly destroys old building and hears scream. Scared alfie runs away. Police investigate and find rusted and damaged freddie. He was restored and brought back to skarloey railway in 2000

In My Cannon (Partially Based On Sodor 1944) 98462 (B16) Tricked James Into Pulling A Longer Heavier Goods Train, You See James Had Not Been Fitted With Newer Parts As He Was Previously Privately Owned So He Didn't Have Brakepipes, Or Metal Brakeblocks. (98462 Wanted To Get Rid Of Competition He Also Made Henry Crash By Not Telling The Signalman About The Points Or The Signal. After He Was Found Out He Was Sent Back To The LNER And Eventually Scrapped In The 50's Or 60's.) James Was Also A Class 27 Along With Winston Rebuilt Into A Class 28 (Yes They Actually Did This) And We're Both Chosen For The Mougal Experiment ,Then Winston Was Purchased By The Fat Director ,And James Was Sold To A Private Owner.

@@jamestheredenginefan5268 That's appropriate. I always had the feeling someone would do a Headcanon like that. I've been quite interested on having 98462 be a different engine than a B12. I follow the same system The Unlucky Tug used for Arthur and Percy. This means 98462 could be either a B16, as there was a B16 numbered 846 that was later rebuilt into a larger shape as a B16/2, or a GCR 9Q as there was a 9Q numbered 462 before the Grouping act. However the RWS illustration resembles a B16 more than a 9Q.

In my headcanon molly arrived in ger blue livery and was rather coacky about her heritage but one night at the scrapyard she got shookend up by an old ger engine called 1020 as she puffed out she heard his beg for mercy and the sound of the torch came molly was horrified she was told to take some empty ballast trucks to arlesbrough west she loved the coast after being at the scrapyard so she decided to get painted yellow to remind her of the coastline

My solution to the Henry theory Henry stayed as the same engine but they redesigned his boiler by shortening it and extending and rebuilding his Firefox now well that's not exactly practical in real life nor is that logical or possible well I mean it probably is but From a kid's storytelling standpoint it's perfectly logical that they could simply just replace and modified part to accommodate

okkkk so a RWS style i guess headcanon i have is in 1988 a year after the IOS book released, the proposed extension to Harwick is constructed and Stephen Topham brings in Ryan who arrives in GNR green and is later "NWR 17" however Thomas had an "incident" at Tidmouth station so as a bit of a punishment he is sent to work at Harwick first and Ryan is sent to work at Ffarquhar, most of the following events are pretty similar to the rest of SLOTLT, after proving himself Thomas is given his branch back and Ryan is repainted in the color he wanted which was purple after seeing Culdee at the woks, and in 1990 Thomas is sent to York and the events of Thomas and the Great Railway Show and Thomas comes Home accrue, shortly after he returns he is sent to work at Crovans Gate as a change of pace, he takes a goods train that was meant to go to Vicarstown but he gets switched onto the wrong line and finds some disused tracks and Thomas went along one of these and Discovered Great Watorton which was a town operated by the Sodor and mainland railway, the news quickly spread and soon enough the town was restored, around the same time Covans Gate Works built a new tank engine called Stanley who was a hybrid of a Hudswell Clarke and Kitson No. 5459 who became "NWR 18" along with the purchase of Flora who was bought to run the Great Watorton tramway who is now "NWR 20" along with the restoration of Emily and Molly who were both found near Great watorton "NWR 21" and 22 respectively so yeah the 1980's and 90's were a pretty big time for Sodor k thanks bye!
