For your waterfall image, if the hole were out to sea and below sea level, it would have filled with seawater and been nothing more than a steep drop off into deeper water. People swimming or boating nearby would not risk falling into the hole. The artist rendition is pretty but unrealistic.

I rescued a young lad called Tommy from Sunset Beach Acapulco who was getting sucked out by a strong current, his parents worked for Harley Davidson and were part of a group holiday paid by Harley, (the staff) to keep the production line intact, I'm a qualified lifeguard so that was my good deed for the day.Anyway, his grateful parents gave me a Harley beer cooler to wrap round a pint glass to avoid heat transfer, it's nice to be nice, happy holidays.

I was at Daytona Beach FL with 2 blind sisters. I had one holding each elbow. The sand was very hot so they wanted to walk where the waves would wash over their feet. In the car I'd gone over some safety instructions. I said we'd only walk near the edge of the water if they responded immediately to the instructions I'd discussed. We were enjoying a leisurely walk when I said "Hard crab left!". People gave me strange looks but we are safely shuffled to the left. Then I yelled a warning that small jellyfish were in the waves. I heard a lot of people crying out in pain, but because the blind sisters reacted quickly we were safe. The jellyfish were landing north and south every place I could see. I said we'd come back the next time the older sister was in town. Unfortunately she died the next year without returning. She was only in her late 40s. At the funeral in Las Vegas where he mom lived people were talking about her tale of the woman who'd saved them from jellyfish stings. Her sister still lives near me and called to tell me about it.

I live in Volusia County, FL which is where Daytona Beach is but I live in New Smyrna Beach (NSB for short) which is number 11 on this list. When I was a child we were swimming in Port Orange which is just south of Daytona and there were 11 of us in a group including my sister and 9 of us including me got stung by a man-o-war

@@jeremywhistler2850 maybe you should google sharks. They have no lungs, therefore they don’t breath air. Also, they don’t travel in pods. They are mostly solitary hunters. And it’s incredibly difficult, but not impossible to train sharks. There’s less than 30 trained sharks in captivity. Also, they do not make high pitched sounds. So, everything you said is wrong. That first "most dangerous beach rendering" is absolutely, unquestionably Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii. Diamond Head is the volcano to the rear. In fact, this perspective must be from the Hilton Hawaiian Village where I've stayed. That "drop off of a hole " looks to be either Niagara Falls or Horseshoe Falls on the US/Canada border in New York.

That's exactly what it is. I've been to Waikiki as well, and yeah I had it pegged as Niagara but I've never been there. It would be pretty interesting to see how the clickbait-ass picture would even function, seeing as how it appears to be affected by a wizard's spell of "infinite water to fall". Not to mention it would be cool to see how a water flowing so strongly in one direction would also produce gently crashing waves on the sand.

There's a little secret that Lion King is actually based on a true story because all the Disney movies are so imagine those dingos or hyenas tearing someone apart and by limb just because they go in words when you least expect it?

Dingoes are nothing like hyenas or leopards, they're essentially similar to wolves even though they're not descended from wolves or dogs (basically their own species) and attacks are rare on humans, having encountered them many times they're not to be feared though still best to be cautious. Very beautiful creatures and believe me you would much rather encounter a dingo than a hyena or leopard.

It's completely insane how someone would claim Waikiki Beach being in Brazil, with Diamond Head being in the background like "Hello!" Someone obviously doesn't travel much to know a Brazilian beach, from a Hawaiian beach, especially with both Diamond Head and the Waikiki Beach hotels giving away the hint. How could anyone screw that up? Is he serious? I almost spit out my drink, the exact moment the guy claimed Waikiki Beach being in Brazil. I was like "How the hell could he claim Diamond Head being in Brazil? That happens to be Waikiki Beach on the island of Oahu in Hawaii!" Even if Diamond Head was not in the background, the hotels along with beach alone would have been enough to give me hint that it is Waikiki Beach on Oahu, regardless if I had been to Hawaii or not. Sometimes, it really gets somewhat annoying to a point where you might feel like telling that person "Get a globe! Watch some travel channels on cable, and know the complete difference between Hawaiian scenery and Brazilian scenery, before someone gets the impression that some kind of processor in the brain has either malfunctioned, or has completely went out of service." Seriously! How the hell could someone claim Waikiki Beach being in Brazil, and would obviously put an Brazilian flag on it? How could anyone get that incorrect?

Wakiki Beach is not in Brazil ! Also, Gansbaai ( pronounced “ Hans By”) does not have a real beach. It has a shoreline and a dock where a few shark viewing boats depart. In recent years Great White sitings are rarer due to the fact that Orcas have moved in killing Great Whites and eating their livers. I spent 3 days in a shark cage there and saw only one Great White for a few minutes.

Beaches are not 'supposed to be' nice and relaxing places. Some are ideal for sunbathing, some for surfing, some for both, and many for neither. We humans have chosen to settle down temporarily or permanently in some of the most inhospitable locations on earth. That said, I would definitely go to the beach by St. Martin's airport. I've always enjoyed watching planes land, and in most places they're already in restricted air space by the time they're that low to the ground.

As far as the planes flying over Maho (not Sunset....get it right Factsopedia) Beach. Restricted air space or not, there are abundant warning signs all over the place telling people not to venture directly under the planes as they pass over the beach. The signs are in multiple languages, and the message is further emphasized by a drawing of a little stick-figure guy getting knocked on his @$$ by the jet wash of the cartoon-style plane he's standing under. There are similar signs attached to the airport fence warning people that it is dangerous to hang on to the fence while being buffeted by a plane's jet wash......duh. It's actually an awesome (if smallish) beach, and Sint Maarten is an awesome place. It's not a dangerous beach in the least....it's just that it seems to be a magnet for people who have "winning a Darwin Award" on their Bucket List.
@pennypay1
@pennypay1 3 жыл бұрын
@@russs7574 True. I know the wind generated by a speeding train is often underestimated by people who are new to railfanning, and jet wash would be far more forceful. I guess I've seen so many videos of people legally congregating on that beach to watch the show, that it makes it seem less of a danger. I miss planespotting in general. Before 9-11, my friend and I used to visit airport terminals just to watch jets take off and land.

For a thrill, watch several videos made from the cockpit of planes coming in to land, it’s awesome and thrilling! The runway’s so short and there’s mountains directly in front of, when you take off the plane must bank sharply to one side or the other to avoid crashing!
