Well done video. The FADEC advantages are clear and I'm glad you noted that the minor adjustments without FADEC, although seemingly simple, require constant attention. Eliminating the task of having to constantly make minor adjustments is actually a major benefit for single-pilot operations.

I've never heard of one failing, but if it does, there is a check-list to enter manual operation.

I think it is pretty reliable, all Airbus beyond A320 already use FADEC. These aircraft are everywhere, used routinely as passenger transport every single day.
