Well done A T. Please avoid road trips outside Nigerian cities if you can, for security reasons. That Gurara area is not a very safe area . Maybe when things improve you can attempt such but not now. Stay and explore the major cities only for now. Again, good job and well done.

The federal expressway from Abuja to Minna is sadly in a serious state of disrepair. This shows the extent of bad government and leadership that people in Nigeria are grappling with under APC. A lot of public utilities spoilt under Buhari's administration. I cannot begin to count the number of trucks that stumble and fall while trying to safely negotiate their passage through craters and gullies on our highways. Too bad.

Is that the organic corn or the gmo (genetically modified) corn courtesy of Mr Gates? That farmer is so knowledgeable. He reflects his education when he speaks. There are better waterfalls in Cross River State (Agbokim Falls), the drop is more spectacular and so is the countryside.

Just for clarification, Banex area is in Wise 2 district. ONE CHANCE is a term that is used for a taxi driving on the street in the night, that is filled with passengers and only having just a chance for one more passenger. One percent of such taxis could be from people of the underworld. So we all get cautious when stopping a taxi, at night, with just one chance for one more passenger.

Unfortunately it is the same with some roads in Nigeria. At least this one is a village road but there are highways connecting cities that are in more terrible conditions than this one. One example is Akwaibom-Calabar road, if in a good condition will not take more than 2hrs but unfortunately I spent 8hrs on the road yesterday.

If this was built in the 80s, a better question would be, why is this build around the car, and not around walking or biking? There are many cities around the world where you could do without ever owning a car. Because of good public transport like trams/trains, and good bike and walking paths. This is much easier to do when start a city from scratch and don't have a large historical inner city to worry about.
@brownlazarus8627
@brownlazarus8627 Ай бұрын
@@lydiareece6280 The same thing I said. There are good roads in Nigeria as well as terrible roads. There are bad city roads and good village roads, vice versa.
