I'm an instructor myself & taught my sister to drive last year. As kids we argued like cats and dogs so I was a bit apprehensive but we actually had no cross words at all.

I’ve been learning in my own car (Fiat 500) around 20 hours of driving.. have my theory test tomorrow.. hopefully I pass.. then I will be doing driving lessons with an instructor to see where I’m at with a professional.. it will be nice to see these videos as it seems I’m in the same position as your brother.
@pimigaming68105 жыл бұрын
Good luck on your theory tomorrow!!!

RooMi 7 thank you 😊 it’s at 2,30 so I have been in the app all morning practising hazard perception and answering the questions lol
@tanyamariebarlow92845 жыл бұрын
RooMi 7 I passed yay! First time.. although I did get two questions wrong.. Now to book driving lessons with an instructor and learn more then do my practical test. Oh for anyone reading this I really do recommend the DVSA app.. a lot of the questions were the same! Plus the hazard perception.l not the actual videos but the way it is. I was most scared about hazard perception..l I tried to click a maximum of 5 times only. On the clip with two hazards I clicked 6 times.
@tanyamariebarlow92845 жыл бұрын
Btw I forgot to say, I’m a really anxious person and my legs felt week, I couldn’t even speak properly haha! I didn’t sleep the night before and I couldn’t eat in the day I just felt sick.. I put in so much practice I really didn’t want to fail and have to pay again.. the practice really does pay off.

This is a great video. I can remember once on my lessons I crossed my hands and my driving instructor got me to stop the car as soon as it was safe and I didn't do it again after that harsh chat 🤣🤣
@cerwynlewis35205 жыл бұрын
Crossing your hands is fine though, as long as you remain in control
@alicemay71445 жыл бұрын
Cerwyn Lewis That’s exactly the reason why you don’t cross your hands. If you cross hands and get into an accident where the wheel bag goes off, crossing hands means wrists are in the way of the centre of the wheel and could result in broken wrists/dislocated shoulders. So unless you’re Jeremy Clarkson, I wouldn’t bother with it. Plus doing it too often can mean a failed test. Not really worth it 🤷🏼♀️
@Naeem925 жыл бұрын
I think he will be just fine he will definitely get used to the clutch and biting point after a few lessons, just give yourself some time and before you know it it will be second nature

Got a lesson today when you brake do you press the clutch the down as well or just the brakes
@melaniedynesen84455 жыл бұрын
Depends on what you're doing. If just to slow down, then just use the brakes, unless you need to gear down as well. If coming to a full stop, press the clutch down all the way as you brake. If you don't then you'll probably stall. :) Hope this helps, and good luck!
