If someone allowed me to stay with them until I got money, then I got money.. I’d have definitely given them some money. What a way to ruin a friendship

Dear Plaintiff: The defendant is not your friend and hasn't been your friend for some time. Do not consider rekindling the friendship. Defendant is a taker.

The defendant is definitely an ungrateful guy. No, they may not have had a contract, but had it not been for the plaintiff, the defendant very-well may have ended up in a shelter with NO place to store all of his junk. He should have GLADLY offered him something as a show of gratitude. He’d better hope that he doesn’t end up on hard times again, because he may have just burned the only bridge he had left.
@LiveGrowRescue18 күн бұрын
This "best friend" stayed on the plantiffs couch for 1.5 years and took up a whole bedroom for his junk. Not only did the plantiff save him from paying rent, or living on the streets, the plantiff also saved him a TON in storage. This guy wins 265k and doesn't give his helping friend anything?!?! Not even 5k?! I hope the plantiff wiped his hands free of this free loading loser. I'm sure the defendant blew through that money and contacted the Plantiff for a helping hand.

The defendant used the plaintiff smh. That man took him in when he had nowhere to go. Once he got his settlement he could’ve gave him something.

TPC while I draw? I'm in! Agreed with the judge: I love my friends, and even though I'm not in contact with anyone offline (I have since moved and don't use socials, nor had my own phone back then). I still wish the best for all of the ones who treated me right. Unfortunately I did have that realization that I had a very toxic friend at a time, but no longer communicate with him either. My online friends give me so much joy when I am feeling down, and I can't imagine my life without them. I even got to see one of them irl one time. It was amazing.

@NubianP618 күн бұрын
I mean, if he actually received $600,000, then I’d say at least fair-market value for 6 months of living in his place for free. So if the average rent in their area is $1,800 per month, then he should have at least offered him $10,800. If he “only” received $200,000 as he claimed, then he should’ve at least offered him a few thousand to show some gratitude. Perhaps like $4,000-$5,000. 🤷🏽♀️
