Lucky you don't have rusted fitting going into the body of the pump.. the price of the 2 fitting was the same as a brand new pump.. I guess I'll restore the old original and keep it in case

My 93 Silverado 5.7 has none of those signs, no noise no leaking and the cab heater works just fine. This year my daytime 3pm engine temperature is much higher than the last few years, early morning it's about the same. (100° to 105° outdoor temperatures). I replaced the t-stat with a 180, the other one, a 195, I noticed had a small gap at the top once I took it out.

Probably a faulty thermostat. Make sure coolant is changed at least once every two years. And the radiator has no build up of corrosion.

Does the accelerator depend on the water pump ??

When the vehicle is in cold condition the accelerator is working well ..and when the vehicle coolant temperature 60 above that time we switched the ignition off and again started that time the accelerator not working.

We have to replace the thermostat, egr, FI pump, and also check the turbocharger .also replace the throttle body

Also replace the catalytic converter
