So a quick little side note. we are aware of the focus issues on the camera, was the first time using that camera and some settings where weird and by the time we realised what it had done where unable to re shoot. (and i think there might still be some mono audio going on). Is a lot tougher filming real life stuff than it is game stuff haha, but the more we do this the better we will get at it :)

I highly recommend doing a banger rally challenge like the rust 2 Rome. We did one last year in a £500 nissan almera. Drove through France and Spain (bearing in mind I've never been abroad before) dressed as monkeys and it was the most fun I've ever had. Oh and BTW, suggestion for the van name would be 'Astranomical' for all the money it's going to cost you in repairs going by my past experience 🤣

As someone who owns a Opel Astra H 1.7 CDTI estate i got for about £400... cheap is not always great :P As I had to spend about £800 in parts... and that's after the former owner spent over £5000 fixing it over 4 years. Turned out that you can't always trust mechanics shops, even when you tell them what's wrong, the last time before I took it over, I was the one who got it to the mechanic's shop for the owner, and told them that they need to fix the handbrake, as that's why it needs new rear brakes for the 3rd time in 2 years. So when the rear brakes broke for the 4th time 5 months later, I got the car... (Broken as in rotors completely used up, pads almost gone, and constant loud scraping sounds from the brakes while driving, for the 4th time.) Turns out... it was the handbrake all along... to the surprise of no one. More shocking was how on my way on a short trip to a friend's work to borrow a lift, the rear wheel seized and I was stuck, my friend had to arrive with a jack and some tools, and for the first time in my life I got to see a car that had lost a brake pad entirely, so the piston was against the rotor, swapping the remaining pad over to that side allowed us to limp to the lift so we could fix it, kinda shows the workmanship of that mechanic's shop. -_- But... before ADHD kicked in and I started an essay on my car for some reason, what I was trying to say.... keep an eye on the handbrake wire, the tube it goes through will gunk up and make it hang, thus mess up your rear brakes, it seems to be a problem that happens on the Astra H. You also get Android head units that are tailored to fit in the original dash on these, with stuff like a plug for the OBDII so you can always keep an eye on fault codes :P (but also menus to go in and use the buttons the touch screen replaced, so the little extra monitor showing fuel consumption etc, can still be fiddled with) But also allows weird vent caps for your wheels that connect to the head unit so you can monitor tire pressure, because race car, but also... what might be useful in a van version, reverse camera. As mine is older... I only have a 5 speed gearbox, so I do envy that from the fail van at least, and I don't have the big "spordy" wheels, instead I opted for some wheels with a nice lip to look wider, and as I bought them used they have the Saab logo on the center cap. :P

Usual name I think of for astras is a disastra. with regards to the lag, my old civic was the same with the 1.7 diesel and changing the maf made it boost a lot earlier, the garage said they becaome lazy over time and dont react as quick making it feel laggy.

Phenomenally exited for you I’m a wagon guy and actively hate on the recent suv surge, currently house my wife in a 12 reg mondeo titanium estate and myself in a 66 nardo grey carbon pack rs6 performance although we daily use our recovery trucks for work but her mondeo excites me more to drive cause it’s not as easy to ever take ect on runs the 6 makes nothing a challenge whereas the deo reminds you to stay humble as such, it’s hard to explain but the deo gives more excitement to go for a run in

There are probably better ideas out there, but these suggestions are based on the transformers emblem I saw. Sandstorm (transforms into an orange dune buggy or helicopter - motto is "when the smoke clears, I've cleared out"). Sunstreaker (transforms into a car, though maybe a little more yellow than orange- motto is "can't beat the best").
