One of the best movies I have ever seen. This is, in my opinion, the best scene in the movie. "Take a bow Mrs. Powers you've just re-written our alma mater." Joe Louis Clark and Mrs. Powers are badass. Badass teachers. They care. I don't know about the results in the real world; whether test scores and grades were better because of Mr. Clark; however, the USA needs more teachers and administrators that care; that give a damn about kids. This scene makes me cry every time I see it. This movie makes me cry every time I watch it. Education shouldn't be about race vs. race or rich vs. poor. Everyone deserves a good education and good teachers and administrators.
