You always knew she'd pass someday, but you didn't think it would be now, so soon.... Lost my Mom in November of 2020 and it's the one that hit me hardest because I was a Mama's boy so I was super close to my Mom when she was alive...I don't got any wisdom for you...it sucks being grown, because you are cognizant of just how impactful losing your Mom is and you bear much more weight than if you were still a kid... Not saying kids have it better, but a lot is not made privy to them because they're children...I don't need to ask how you're doing, I kinda know, but at the same time, no one person's experience is the same as another's so I'll just tell you to just not drown.... Keep your head above the water.... That's all you can do, keep it moving and head above the water so you don't drown and I don't need to explain context so you should know what I mean... It's the one thing that you never realized you'd TRULY miss until it was gone because it was always there before....a mother's love...

I'm tearing up as I'm listening to this now here on you tube..... This was the Most Important Perfect Song for the scene in "Lethal Weapon 3"...... That should've never happened to that young man in the movie n of course unfortunately this is an all to familiar scene in reality...... This is what happens when we join the gangs in the negative way n you add weapons and drugs n stuff like that!!!! You wanna join a gang??? Join a Positive Gang like the ones that say "Stay In School"!!!!! "No means No" "Say No To Drugs"..... Those are the positive gangs you should be affiliated with not the ones w the weapons and the drugs..... It's one thing to bare arms and own a weapon yeah when you use it in a positive way self defense things like that the sport of going shooting at a gun range for fun!!!! Not for Violence at all period!!!! But you could preach this n preach it til you're mouth or your tongue fell out n still "It Goes In One Ear And Goes Out The Other!!!!!

I want to dedicate this song to my Uncle Karl who passed away very early this morning. I’ll always remember how much you would tell me how much you loved me, how proud you were of my, and how I was your favorite nephew! You always kept it 100% authentic and that level of realness don’t come around these days. You’re truly one of a kind and one of my favorite people on the face of the Earth! I’m going to miss you, my guy!!!! I promise you...I’m going to do EVERYTHING I told you I would and everything you told me to do 😭😭😭

Losing someone is never easy. My heart broke Wednesday Sept 23rd 2020, the morning I was informed my best friend, my support, the only family I had left had passed. Today the clouds are full and blue, releasing the rain inside but the sun will shine again. You will always be my strength to continue to move forward. A bright star has shown in the heaven's and I know it's you telling me your still here. I love you with every tear drop that falls. Big Rock/Rocky I'll be happy to see you again, maybe you'll open the gates of heaven for me. Until then my heart will carry you, til its last beat. 😭😭

This song came on a show I was watching today and it made me tear up. I grew up as a missionary kid in Bolivia. I had so many good friends there that I had to leave and haven't spoken to in almost 20 years. Over the years, I've lost track of my friends and some of them have passed on. It's almost impossible for me to listen to this song without tearing up thinking about them. I miss you all so terribly and I hope that you've found peace. @@demetriawilliams3476 So very sorry. You look like you may be around the same age I was when I lost mine. April Fool's Day, 2015 was the day & that seems like over a decade ago already... I waa 39 & turning 46 this fall, I think I'm just realizing I wasn't even 40 yet ... My bday was in Sept., so yeah 39 ... Decades ago. Lost my dad 5/4/18. A then straight craziness right up thru pandemic news 'till now. I keep thinking on fantasies of time travel back to 1985. That was Marty McFly's year, & it was a great one for me & age 10. I hope you are still like on auto pilot if you need to be, hope you get more peace back daily. Ya already know that pain cam never go away as long as you live, but, it does get more familiar, & therefore easier to deal with as time goes on. Grannies & mom's are hard to lose & my grandmother & het sister lived togerher because they both lost their husbands young, & both had kids to raise, we had a great Aunt that was like a 2nd Granny. (No other males besides ny step dad) so, yeah, it was hard to lose all 3 of them & then losing my dad, caused one of those siblings don't gather anymore, (which it was the virus. last year. But, still weren't gathering the prior years. I's sad ... like losing the entire family suddenly, even cousins & neighbors. Anyway, I am glad none of them has to be around for this virus & for politics since 2016. Wow, it just was a blessing for them because my parents wouldn't hace handled that too well. I didn't mean to type a 4 volumn novel...lmbo! Your reply just hit me hard. And, I just wish I could snap us all out of this horrid nightmare, or snap back into 1985 & lock it in . . . We had not been together in 25 years, but you never lose the love for someone that helped create the precious lives of your children. This song has always been on my celebration of life Playlist, it'll be played first and then lighter songs will be next. I thank each and every one of you for this song. When it first came out, our friend "T" was taken from us way too early, he was 15 and stabbed to death. We played this song at his funeral. I'm going to be cremated and my boys know that I'm working on my song list all the time. I feel your pain. I lost my dad Saturday. It is very hard. But I keep telling myself hes better off. At least God will take care of him now. Though it still seems unfair 😥

I was 17 when this song came out. I remembered listening to it and even though I didn't know who it was dedicated to I still felt a profound feeling of loss. For all of us we mourn the loss of loved ones, not knowing who else is going to be taken from us or when we ourselves would go. We just trudge on and try to make the best sense of life we could. Life is indeed so short, fragile and uncertain.
