So most if not all of Fairouz's songs were composed by her late husband and then as far as I know only one of her sons kept the legacy going even in some concerts he would accompany her on the piano

"Ya Hala Ya Habibi" is a gorgeous track by her. If you are interested in World music reactions try, Omar Khorshid , Mahlathini & The Mahotella Queens, The Four Brothers, The Lulu's Band, Kanda Bongo Man, Diblo Dibala. There's so many I could name. Another female Arabic singer I like is Shiraz, maybe try Rosa Eskenazi too. If you want some punkier alternative music suggestions I have plenty of those too, as you enjoy translation you should try Welsh language band Datblygu, possibly my favourite band ever.

@@drsameh5944 Rahbany brothers never said that, and their achievements in music were way more important than Sayed who had limited songs compared to the hundreds of songs and musical plays that they composed.
