Lamia was a woman who got punished by Hera for having kids with Zeus, she had a monstrous face as she turned into child-killing monster. The more common Lamias - that Japanese media usually use are the slavic snake women - think mermaid, but instead of fish tail, they have snake tail. They are common fantasy setting monster. Most notorious in recent years I would say would be one of the love interests in Monster Musume? We know that the thing that slammed Gildarts was Acnologia - he mentions it when he comes back from the quest. We can assume that he went after Acnologia, because he was the more known dragon travelling through the world. Elefseria doesn't give a lot of knowledge about the Dragon Gods, so going for a well known dragon was a good idea, I guess? There is also a chance that Acnologia was included in the original quest, as he has been creating havoc for few centuries at that point. Lucy was one of the MVPs though, she was the person who thought about Fairy Sphere and the one who casted it with Melody's help. That two, Gray, Lyon, Juvia, Erza and Wendy did most of the work there, with Natsu delivering final hit after getting enchanted by Wendy. Dragon Gods were actually mentioned in the original series. August says that God Serena (strongest wizard) was blessed by the Dragon Gods. Their existence has been mostly unknown, as Elefseria put NDA on the whole thing and Isshgarians rarely made contact with the continent of Guiltina. Also with Acnologia rampaging through the world - they presumably stayed low-profile, to not get slaughtered. I mean - one wish trope is tired, but Elefseria is also a 100+ years old dude, give him a break - he probably doesn't know what the kids like these days. My bet is that they either ask him to revive his guild or that they ask him for Aquarius key. Also I genuine hope this is 24 episodes at least. This way we could have three seasons - each for two dragons and it would nicely lineup with the manga chapters (we probably gonna finish this around 170-175, which in original series gave us around 70-75 episodes).

The later arcs show us Elefseria's abilities, he can't give them anything, he is too weak in his half-dead state, but he likely has skills to find it or straight up make a new one. There is actually a chance that he or Duke Barbaroa were capable of creating Celestial Spirit Keys, due to their alchemy background and vast magical knowledge (even if we know they weren't the creators, as those existed before Zeref's times).

Oh man, damn it... This is the anime of my childhood. I can't even explain how emotionally attached I am, but they just can't do it right, it doesn't work. Where are those old openings, the endings, the magic circles, they completely removed them as if they never existed. The color palettes are weird, the colors of the magic are different from the old seasons. Natsu's is very light, it doesn't give the same feeling as the old seasons. Juvia's voice actor changed, her voice is different. Just two days ago, I was watching the last episodes of the first season and I missed it so much. When I heard that the 100 Years Quest was coming out, I was happy to see this anime again, but it just doesn't satisfy. This anime is so valuable to me. I was so young when I first watched it that I didn't even know the language was Japanese. My childhood passed with its songs, it has such a nostalgic feeling, that's why I criticize it so much because I can't get that old feeling... It really hurts my heart. Seriously, friends, don't get too attached to anything, a piece of advice from me. Somehow, it always ends up hurting.

They mentioned the dragon gods were as strong as acnologia but that was before acnologia ate the time rift so acnologia i think acnologia way stronger then the dragons gods plus they mentioned natsu beat acnologia but he didn't defeat him on his own so acnologia is still stronger natsu. But gets even stronger natsu will definitely surpass acnologia

they all confused by that. No 100 years Quest is a quest that no one can able to finish the quest and the years past so the quest is over 100 years not complete and thats it called 100years quest. Its not that you will take 100 to complete it. Its so simple
