The real question is who is the more iconic duo Mashima and Jelal? or Mashima and the Oracion Seis? I've long said that the hate towards the Alvarez arc was grossly over exaggerated but this honestly feels like an attempt to not only fix that arc but vastly improve it. And as long as Mashima doesn't rush things again or decide to start another new manga while working on this the true dragon king festival will likely end up as the best arc of the 100 years quest and all of Fairy Tail as a whole.

Vernes Since I mentioned Selene breaking free from Dogramag root power she gonna use her teleportation power to open a portal from Edolas and Elentir into Earthland to help Team Natsu win this war Why the Two worlds (Edolas and Elentir) will going to help Natsu and his team (Team Humanity)? Seeing this seems like a bigger war then Alvarez arc, I hope they utilise the side characters more. I think some will agree certain characters fell short despite having more potential in the previous arc. I hope when they turn the F&F guild into dragons, they will pit against Diabolos, and focus the gen1 dragon slayers onto the dragon gods. 6 new demons also seems a lot considering there's only Gray and Mira who are most suited to counter them. Ultimately deep within myself I know Hiro will just give the spotlight to the same few MCs

She was only briefly mentioned because Erza was talking to Jellal, asking him if both he and Meldy wanted to join Fairy Tail, we're already seeing that Jellal is already considering joining Fairy tail but Meldy on the other hand is up in the air cause we haven't seen her, nor do I think we've seen Lamia Scale either at all. I know Lyon sort of had the "love a first sight" on Meldy. There was like rumors or speculation that they're engaged or something, which would be weird.

Hashima is excellent with setting up the big final fights but they have historically came up short with the payoff outside of Rave. So he is 1-2. I just don't believe these match ups will live up to expectations. He will find a way to rather nerf the villians or do some POF or bs to give fairy tail the win. I need some sacrifice. If they all walk away undefeated again then I'll just can't take this story seriously.
