You are a brilliant storyteller and illustrator. I had to watch this twice, back to back. You're as talented as the people you feature in these vignettes.

@@Merveillesenpapier I meant to tell you the white flowers with the blush of pink in the bouquet are called "Blushing Bride" ( Serruria florida ) and the shells are called Giant Periwinkle. You hardly get these periwinkle shells this size anymore as they are very slow growing and are over fished. These are very old from our farm, probably 100 years old. The flowers also grow on our mountain wild.

magnifique🌿. My favorite subject. Old books and fairy tales. I want to find a beautiful treasure chest like yours, filled with imagination. I just received from Britain a book from 1875 called Tales from Shakespeare. Written 1830 for children. They send by mistake the wrong copy. How fortunate. It is older and even more beautiful. The one I ordered from 1890 was sent also to the wrong house. The shop owner was very happy, that I was not upset, and gave me a 50% refund which I did not ask for. ☘ Always such a pleasure to have a glimpse into your magic kingdom. 🍃 Have a beautiful week. Sabine

I know the more I study the women writers and artists of the 17th and 18 th century , and read their writings , the less I can understand why they are so forgotten , you really think they were doing nothing even the aristocrats with a lot of leisure time, they were very active and had very good ideas, some were very prolific, it might be the topic of another video later !!
