Man, I don't think the sisters were that bad, I mean, they tried their best to find their father to give him food, cooked for an old man, tied up the bed, were nice. Poor little things were judged by being in panic, they could be killed or get pregnant at any time, it's a grimm fairytale for God's sake.

You would be surprised how graphic the original tales are..... I mean, in the original Red Riding Hood, she participates in cannibalism, drinking her grandmother's blood, then there's the cat that calls her a vulgar name.

Is it just me, or does it see that In every story with 3 siblings the youngest is always the nicest or most thoughtful

This happens alot in fairytales. I'm interested in a middle child taking the lead.

As the youngest of three, I get treated with less respect and family members really don’t put much thought in me, I always felt like that shadow, hide and nobody really cares about it. So I feel like they (the youngest in fairytales) felt that too, and know how bad it fells and don’t really want others to go through the same stuff they’re/‘ve been through.

In the fairy tail "Szklana góra" (The berg of glass) the youngest son is the kindness, but everyone bully him and even his brothers and mother call him gluptas (dummy). There are many version of this fairy tail, but my favorite one is where Gluptas look into the chanted glass and saw himself bullied by everyone, get sad and was convinced to die but then his friends, the birds, started to sing about the princess on top of the berg and Gluptas puted himself together to save a girl who suffered even more then himself. Not to marry her, but to save her.

In reality the youngest is very spoiled😂😂

@@albandarizeyara3861Same to me, I'm the youngest sister of 2 brothers, the eldest was violent and used me as a punching bag and the middle one was kinder, but was mainly a bystander and never tried to protect me. I grew up to be a calm person like my middle brother but I can't stand violence, I avoid conflict most of the time, but as soon as I see someone being wronged I always stand up for them. Maybe the youngest tends to be the wisest because they learn with the elders' mistakes.

I’s absolutely sleep after all that, but I definitely don’t think the sisters deserved their punishment if anyone the parents did. How do you send all but your favored child into the wood alone without concern? It did seem like Hansel and Gretle to me. Maybe the father was trying to be rid of his children. 😂

Awesome reading! I also don't think that the sisters really deserved their punishments. I mean, how were they supposed to know that they were supposed to take care of the animals?

So every night the old man sits there with the animals, watching the door, waiting for a girl to walk in? 🤨if no one comes that night then what? Does he then prepare the dinner himself? 😪so many questions going through my mind.

The sisters did not act of malice in my eyes, at worst a misunderstanding, I would probably think similar if they asked me to cook and expect them to ask me to feed the animals too if it was necessary 😅

Hmm. I would find it incredibly rude if someone fed my animals without me asking. You don't know what food they are meant to eat. Farmers are even more strict, their rations are important for growth. Also they are freakin children lost in the woods, they are scared and didn't do anything rude really they just thought they were being offered food and lodging by a nice man who ENDED UP KIDNAPPING them and locking them in a basement???? Absolutely not.
