Much needed topic and interesting look at our history which must be included in our school's textbooks. Also the Aryans originally descended from the Yamnaya culture of Ukrainian Pontic Steppe and they are just a small part of a larger indo european heritage. I highly recommend for all history enthusiasts to look up the migeration patterns of indo europeans, comparative mythology and human genetics to gain a clear perspective. Back in the day it was proposed that there was a massive Indo European invasion of the world. But more modern research have proved otherwise as it was rather more of either small raids into civilized territories or gradual settlements at best. All of these indo european groups integrated with the native population of the land thus contributing to the native genepool of that area. And it's not just the case with the Subcontinent but the entire Eurasia. Even the persians are an indo european people. What this all tells us is that Humanity's genepool is so diverse and not a linear format of any "native" gene. Had it been the case we would have went extinct long ago like Neanderthals which would have meant a stagnation of genetic evolution.

Pakistani history starts from 1947 before that it was all united India. In india we study indus valley and all other civilization that we had in past in our school curriculum l. These all are part of indian civilization as a whole. India was under different rulers and empires for centuries, sometime it was under central control like in case of magdha, mauryas, guptas, Mughals and marathas and many times it was under many small kingdom which acted quite independently.
