This is the second part of the Faith Full Story Series, where we cover Chapter 2; a chapter filled to the brim with prophetic foreshadowing, bleak lore, and a artful set up for the epic that is Chapter 3.
I had some issues with rendering the whole 90 minutes, so I had to render three separate cuts, then stitch them together in one final render. The video and audio quality shouldn't suffer at all, but I'm open to any pointers or anomalies in my editing or the final product. This is the first time I've ever made anything that's broke an hour of duration.
As always thank you for the amazing support and for the 4K!!!!

It's okay, I laughed at the holy lard joke too... Thank you all for all the support, the beautiful comments have made making this long video so worth it. Regarding the intro, I realize it may lead to confusion. This channel name will always be Flaw Peacock, don't worry. The skits, characters and plots that take place within the intros and outros of the videos are separate from the video essay itself. This channel will always be a fun little video essay channel first, the dumb things i stuff in the intros and outros and Easter eggs and puzzles littered throughout the channel is bc I'm weird and watch too much Twin Peaks. As always thank you all for the beautiful words. You are all the wind in my sails 💙

I love the casual-style breakdowns of these horror media! Sometimes having horror commentators take themselves or their breakdowns too seriously gets pretty tiresome and your style of videos hit that balance perfectly! Looking forward to more from you but that being said please take your time with future videos, I can tell you love what you're doing with these vids and please don't let the pressures of meeting audience expectations take that away!

There is a certain joy and passion that sets these videos apart from other analysts and theorists, as well as a certain feeling of nostalgia that is hard to explain. Same here! I remember watching someone else do videos on Faith that were good, but clearly not that memorable. You might have seen them? I'm pretty sure they were from a relatively well known KZbinr. But these videos are much better in my opinion; plus, I'm able to follow the story a lot better with these. The other video series I saw had a lot of conjecture that muddied the waters too much for me and made things too loose and confusing. I'm looking forward to more work on this channel.

Pandemonium has a really cool breakdown. The word "pandemonium" refers to a state of wild and noisy disorder or confusion. It was first coined by the English poet John Milton in his epic poem "Paradise Lost," which was published in 1667. The word is a combination of two Greek words: "pan," which means "all," and "daimon," which means "demon." The suffix "-ium" is a Latin suffix used to create nouns indicating a place or state. The Greek "pan" was also used in the name of the Greek god Pan, who was associated with nature, wildness, and fertility. In Greek mythology, Pan was often depicted as a half-man, half-goat creature who played the panpipes and chased nymphs through the forest. The word "daimon" referred to a spirit or divine power in ancient Greek religion. In Greek mythology, there were good daimons and evil daimons, and they were believed to be intermediaries between humans and the gods. Over time, the word "daimon" came to be associated more with evil spirits, demons, or devils. When Milton combined these two words to create "pandemonium," he was referring to the capital city of Hell in his epic poem. In Milton's depiction of Hell, Pandemonium is the place where Satan and the other fallen angels gather to plan their next moves against God and Heaven. It is a chaotic and noisy place, full of the sounds of "infernal noise and tumult" (as Milton described it). Today, "pandemonium" is used more broadly to describe any situation that is chaotic, noisy, or disorderly, whether it has any supernatural or religious connotations or not.

1:12:00 You know what I realized, the coulrophobia is either just a joke - likely - or it's a half-joke, because in all the rotoscoped cutscenes, all we see are horrifying people with too-big smiles and lots of teeth lurching towards John or attacking, in freaky clothes or robes, laughing hysterically and sometimes saying stuff more on the 'childish' side, nursery rhymes and the like. Considering John's letter saying that he was magically all better and he knows demons definitely don't exist now, I think he could have 'come to his senses' and said that the demonic beings were just clowns, or hallucinations of them or something due to a deep childhood phobia (Miriam even has a stark-white face). After all, clowns are normal people just like you and me. Not demons. 🙂 Playing through all of chapter 3 and taking notes will be a true test of FAITH. There are a lot of things to keep...... in mind. But I'm excited as Hell for it. (i didn't even mean to do the last one)

I have a theory about the Save tomb: 1. First of all, usually these house-like tombs are for families. This hints at a final conclusion I will come to. 2. The (hairy) man is known to have joined the cult of his own free will. 3. The woman, after her emotional distress guiding her to the cult, may have married the man while in this cult. (Knowing the cultic activities described in chapter 3, this is certainly possible). 4. The (bald) man must be somehow related to the married couple. Perhaps the bald man is a child to the hairy man. Maybe the hairy man was in the cult while raising this child, knowing that the child would eventually be introduced to the cult against their will (reinforcing the idea, even at a very young age). The “stepmom” would be the woman who was married to the hairy man. 5. By the end, the family would be united in the family tomb. Generally, I am suggesting that all 3 of the people were related in some way, leading them to the same tomb.

Very cool video, I'd like to point out the Second Death ritual marking John walks on in Malphas' House. I believe that Miriam attempted to perform the ritual on herself for the Profane Sabbath since Amy is in a coma of sorts after Chapter I. This is more hinted in Chapter III's good ending but i hope you somewhat catch on that in a future ending😊

Thanks! I was skimming through the livechat to look for anything I would have missed. Thanks for catching the Gifford mistake, I dunno where i got Gilroy from, LOL. ALSO Dude, honestly I am as stumped as you about "the girl who stayed in that night". After really thinking about it I am of the mind that if it is a person that we know about already, then it can either be Sister Miriam or Cindy. And I honestly think sister Miriam may be too old, since I think the Second Death happened to her in the 30s. I really want to think that it's Cindy, only because she is such an elusive character, that HAS to be more connected to all this than we have been told. I'll have a more complete picture once I mull over chapter 3. Thanks for keeping me sharp!
@fieryfist3150
@fieryfist3150 Жыл бұрын
@@flawedpeacock No problem, a couple weeks ago I emailed Airdorf about who that girl could be and he said something along the lines of, "it's best to keep things a mystery". It could be possible that Cindy was an orphan but we never get clear confirmation on that. That one drawing of the church and stick dolls signed by Amy in Ch III's nightmare doesnt exist, because in reality it's a drawing of a cultist and a demon that Cindy drew and signed by Nate in Ch I. One more thing, I hope you touch upon on how involved the UNSPEAKABLE is in the series. Check their wiki page about it, but the first and second exorcisms date back to it and it's heavily involved in all of John's nightmares. But, with all my rambling out of the way, this was a very good video and it catched on some details I never noticed!

Yup! I like when creators kinda...how do I say this? "Ignore" seems harsh, but it's the only word I can think of. But I like when a creator ignores the audience to a degree and talks about the things they want to talk about. I get bored with trend chasing and following the new hotness. You can tell when a creator finds something that excites them and if they don't talk about it they're going to burst. I especially love obscure things; it makes me feel like a detective uncovering some forbidden thing as the KZbinr takes me on the journey. I'm looking forward to seeing where this channel goes.

Your content is fantastic! Found you not more than a week ago through the Skinamarink video popping up in my recommendeds, watched that and Faith part one (since the game interests me), and immediately subscribed to catch part two of Faith (and other videos!) as soon as it comes out. I've watched full let's plays of the Faith trilogy plus quite a few theory videos, but similar to FNAF's story, the kinda vague and scattered lore has made it really hard for me to figure out what the straight storyline actually is. I'm autistic so I struggle with language processing to an extent, thus stories that are told non-linearly in just writing and in little pieces don't really click together in my brain. Your videos on the Faith series have FINALLY caught me up to speed! Your storytelling, the whiteboard schematics, and above all else, the "we'll keep X in mind" bit, make it so easy to follow along and retain information + keep up with the narrative. The latter especially so because it just tells my brain that "That Word Right There Is The Important One", so I don't have to worry about that part of language analysis (or potentially just forgetting that word with its contextual meaning) myself. Your explanations are genuinely so accessible, and I'm so pumped to have found your channel. Thank you for the excellent content man, can't wait to watch your next video :) Hope you have a good day!

What I found was a passionate creator whos charismatic, insightful, and funny (those subtle edits kill me.) Ill be sticking around and watching anything you do because of that. Keep doing what youre doing man, youre great.

My favorite activity for the last 2 nights has been working my way through these videos about the Faith series. After a long day, I fix myself a bowl of cereal, get high, and enjoy the thoroughness of your analysis. 23:54 was seriously appreciated. I don’t think I would have been able to enjoy the media the same if you didn’t have this preface explaining the logic of the world of Faith. I’m excited to watch the rest!

you have such a natural way of interacting with the camera and you weave comedy into your storytelling very easily. it feels like i'm watching a show rather than a video essay on youtube :)

I just discovered Faith and happened to stumble upon your analysis videos as well. I have no words, your giddiness and enthusiasm is EXACTLY how I feel about these niche and awesome little indie horror games, you are what I imagine myself as when it comes to these games, dare I say you're a better version of Wendigoon.. Anyways please continue the great work!

You're videos gives me a vibe of a teacher that wants to have a chill day in class so he so pulls out an entire lesson abt the lore of a game that only a niche amount of people will get and i love that sm fr (also the button up shirt and hair pulled back really gives off that vibe even more lol)

Man, this series of videos is not only what I was hoping to find, but executed better than I could have hoped for. I assume you've got real world experience in lecturing? Whilst I don't really know the nuances that go into teaching, I can certainly *feel* that you're doing it right. Thanks for your work. Subscribed. I hope your channel blows up big time. The sincerity in your work so far will no doubt stand out more and more as the years go by here on YT.
