I had the pleasure of meeting Maxi twice in 3 days, back in 2001! I co-ran a leisure club at a hotel Maxi stayed in, whilst he was racing his Formula 4 car, at Donington Race Track. To cut a long story short, I still have and treasure the memories, the cds & the copy of Mixmag he signed for me, that had him and Sister Bliss on the front of it, and also he had some of my remixes on CD, my remix of We Come 1 and also my remix of Dido - Thank You, that I gave him, as when he first came to visit on the Friday afternoon, I had my remix playing of We Come 1 on the soundsystem when he walked in! He loved it! Surreal! Really great bloke and so down to earth. RIP Maxwell 'Maxi Jazz' Fraser.
