I'm left eye dominant but right handed because a teacher forced me to change as a kid. I had to learn to use my right eye more when I was learning gun and archery safety when i was young. Now I keep both eyes open when I'm doing photography and can change focus from one eye to the other pretty easy

@5:30 is a nice shot, you talk about being reluctant to take these behind the back shots. Your picture makes me think of the Revenant and that third person video game perspective it uses so well. Also the back of the mans head gives away so much information - also no mask! :) Good stuff, thanks for this.

Its funny -- yesterday I met up with a friend for some street photos in Cincinnati. We were standing on some of the busier corners, taking shots as people walked by, and talking youtube channels. Your channel came up as one of our favorites. Later we were talking Fuji's x-pro/x100 range style cameras and he complained he doesn't like them as much as his XT2 because he is left-eye dominant -- and I had no idea that was even a thing.

sorry I have a question, since that film photos resolution should be higher than your video resolution 1920*1080. Have you meet a situation that the film photos are losing quality after exporting the video? or do you have some recommendation of putting film photos in video and not losing its quality? Thanks in advanced!!!

Random question but if you are left eye dominant, does that mean you’re also left handed or are the two things not connected? Have you tried shooting it upside down looking through the OVF with your left eye? Might look a bit strange!

Why did you remove the dome of the light meter at the start of the video?
@FaizalWestcott3 жыл бұрын
The dome is for diffusing light. Usually used for when you're reading direct light coming from behind
@firstnamelastname99553 жыл бұрын
I thought the dome was always used for incident metering and would be removed for reflective? I have a different model of Sekonic light meter and to switch between incident and reflective metering you just push/pull a little plastic dome piece.
@FaizalWestcott3 жыл бұрын
@@firstnamelastname9955 you're right, when you point away (reflective) you remove the dome and aim where light is hitting. I guess I always thought the dome was to diffuse the light when doing incident metering

9:39 you should pay more attention during taking this picture to the dead body covered in flower on the screen. Like this lady, because of flowers in her bag, has something to do with the death... Have you actually realized that scene or it was luck? If those two things were connected in one motive it would be picture of the year. Pay more attention ❤

Your photos with Lomo 400 color are very sharp with good contrast. You said it was slightly cooler than Kodak Portra 400, but it is hard to tell the difference. If Lomo 400 sells for less, then I would think this is a very good choice. Sometimes a more intimate neighborhood where the buildings and doorways are humanly scaled, such as an older building, can give us more interesting photos of people. Cafes, coffee shops and neighborhood hangouts. Lomo 400 is a nice surprise.
