Complicado, é uma versão improvisada, só traduzindo mesmo no ouvido... Eu nem imaginava que tinha mais brs que garimpavam os materiais dessa banda online, não neste nível. Eu coleciono material deles, é minha banda favorita na Suécia, além de outras como fever Ray e The knife, secret service etc...

Eu descobri essa banda há anos, creio que desde 2011 ou 12, não me recordo ao certo. Amo os vídeos com os "fake" vocais,rsrs, acho que tem mais a ver a proposta visual da época. John Travolta e Olivia Newton-John,rs. Mas a letra original é perfeita também para o contexto histórico.

​@@patriciacloix71let me explain it to you. Fake were a group of 5 people... Bassist, keyboards, drums and 2 vocalists... They recorded some singles between 1982 - 1984 i belive) like donna rouge, memorys of pan etc... And the recorded an Album end of 1984... Sadly another Brick didnt make it on the album cause it was a single they recorded after the album was already finished... After recording the Album and releasing the single brick, the drummer, bassist and guitarist left the band due to the album being a massive failure and failing to chart annywhere... Still after those 3 guys leaving, the women (ulrica) wich is the original singer from Fake and the male singer (wich sings with her) and also the guy that plays the keyboards (eric i belive) stayed togheter even after those other 3 guys leaving... Slowly but shurely, the single "another brick" started to chart in some countrys like Italy (1#) france (7#) etc... After getting some recognition with the single another brick, they then got invited to a festival called Summerbar i belive or something like that... They were performing the song another brick as a trio. Just right after the end of the performance, eric (keyboard player) got arrested mid while playing live... (There is a video on youtube, just watch it till the end and you will see him being arrested while playing live by the police😂😂😂) Right after this concert, the band officially split up. Now there is a theory what happend... Some say he had drugs or whatever, im not the guy to judge... Either ways, they didnt like eric anymore... He just ruined them. Ulrica partially left the band after that performance. Eric (the guy that got arrested) was really sad and didnt want the band to end after "another brick charting so good in europe" decided to continue alone with another female singer. Now when you watch the video for another brick, you will see a blond singer with a guy that has a short beard and a biker outfit... That is Eric and joe tempest's (the singer from the band Europe) girlfriend. Eric chose that girl cause he was a good friend of joe tempest. Ulrica and the main singer that left the band had some minor performances that they did just to finish with the band (they didnt wanted to perform or to have anything to do wuth eric anymore) After the hype of the single "another brick" died, eric decided to quit too cause ge didnt have any new material to perform and he couldnt sing. Eric was just lip syncing to the original male singer...live all the time Its a sad story since i belive the album was great. Such a shame... Keep in mind, eric WROTE ALL of the songs from the album including brick!!! He was a genious... If you ask yourself what equipment they used to make the sounds they did, here you go. Synthesizers: PPG wave 2.3 + PPG Waveterm B, Roland Juno 60, Yamaha DX7 Drums: Linndrum, Emu drumpad, Roland TR707, real drums The rest is generic guitars etc... Sorry for my bad english, im from switzerland.

Lack of money is actually what ended the band. Several of them found a new jobs and quit the band since they could not continue to record a new materials as album did not have big hits to sell well as planned. They were all a very good friends and the band atmosphere was excellent all those years, and no wonder they made such a great music. I like from Switzerland band called Nuance. I listen to their songs very often.

No she is not a fake singer. Ulrika Örn, who is on this video is the one that sang all the vocals with Fake. I was there that night, playing the drums. :-)
