Fake Floors! ThyssenKrupp Traction Elevator - Octavius Tower, Caesars Palace - Las Vegas, NV

[Recorded September 2023] This bank is located just down the hall from the Mitsubishi elevators that serve the Augustus Tower. These ones were installed by ThyssenKrupp and they're a little less nice. These have ridiculously fake floor numbering and floor indicators that don't work. The one in the car I rode was unable to display any other floor besides C. Most of the other cars didn't even have working screens.

I can’t stand to think about how many people honestly believe that they can go 51 floors in that short amount of time. Reminds me of that one video of those Schindler 5500 elevators where the guy got off on the second floor and thought he was on the 12th floor already lol.

When I first came to this place back in January of 2021, we stayed on the 48th floor which turned out to be the 14th floor. What a ripoff!

I found these to be a bit rough. Rode them last in September 2022.

I see you were there in Sept. That was right after they had the ransomware attack. These just showed a hard disk fail message for a while. I'll e-mail a pic later. And they continue floor numbering from tower to tower so no confusion about multiple floors of the same number... so not "fake floors".
