Fake fragrance - Fahrenheit Parfum by Dior

I have a 2013 batch (3Z02) and my cap doesn't do what that fake's cap does... It's just like your legit bottle... I think they just used a normal style Fahrenheit cap for it... One nice thing to note though was your 2015 juice is the same N° 08175/A formula as my 2013... So good to know you have the OG juice... ^_^ Any idea if brand new bottles are using the same original formula or not??? Also I'd like to see you do a video on the 1988 fake bottle of original Fahrenheit... I have a bottle of Fahrenheit from 1989 (9835M) and it is more floral over my buddy's 1996 bottle... Not sure if it is just how it was or if the juice has just changed over the last almost 30 years... I know Frunkinator did a video years ago ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/q32XnI1rr8l3npI ) on 1988 juice and said the same thing that it was much more floral... (I didn't start wearing it until 1994 so I just don't know how it originally was when it first came out...) Awesome video as always man... I really appreciate you making these...

Xanovia Scents Thank you for the information about the cap. I did see late 2017 batches of Fahrenheit Parfum and they have the same formula written on the box so there is no reformulation. I will try to do the Real vs Fake episode on Fahrenheit EdT this week. I am still looking for the first Fahrenheit batch, it will take some time but I will own it eventually.

Xanovia Scents yeah was going to say about the caps. You are correct. Also about the formulation numbers are the same on 2013 and 2016 and 2017 are all the same as the reviewer said as well. Funny I didn't know they did fakes of this. I have bought a 2017 bottle and also I bought a Dec 2013 bottle in the original box. I bought it on eBay and at the time didn't know about those fakes else I'd have been worried lol. Glad I didn't get ripped off.

Xanovia Scents mine is 3X02. Batch code on the bottom. On my 2016 bottle its on the side.

markymark74 if you bottle has 3X1E batch number it is fake. That is the only fake Fahrenheit le Parfum that has a batch number

Steven Sproat There are fake Fahrenheit Parfum with batch code, same esthetic look of box and bottle like the fake from this video. The batch carved on the box just like the authentic, the bottle also has it but is has it printed at the bottom inside the circle created by the information written with white text at the bottom (it is not carved on the lower side like I showed on my authentic). The fake I'm talking about had the batch code 3X1E. I've seen 2 fakes in Germany and 1 in Romania with that batch code.

I bought one vintage without the batch code Everything was original only missing the code.Ends upd that since the perfume was used and had no celophane during the travel the batch code 4t01 glued on the masking tape and disappeared from the box .Vintage box is printed and not pressed thats why the code was removed.I saw the code on tape and contact the vendor,this situation can heapen but is very rare.

Can anyone tell me when (or even if!!) the bottle has the word parfum just below the word Fahrenheit was released? There's one on ebay but most of the images of this fragrance I can find only have Fahrenheit and Dior written on the front. Fake? Old bottle? New bottle? Thanks in advance.

I don't remember seeing "Parfum" text on the old bottles (the ones that did not came in the black rim box) Did you see the batch code of the one you mentioned ?

@@tattoofun2003 Hey man thanks for reaching out, it's a demo/tester bottle which might explain why it has parfum written on the front? There's also an image on fragrantica of such a bottle on it's review page. It doesn't have a batchcode on the bottle (like your vid) and it has really poor longevity 3-4 hours tops, so I'm assuming it's fake. It passed all your other checks though, glass, lid, under lid all look good. Shame.

@@sambomcl Longevity might depend on how the bottle was kept, heat, sunlight, might influence in a bad way. All testers have batches. It could have it on the bottom or the lower part of the bottle depending on what year it was manufactured.

Hi sir, i got one of this bottles, the batch code is 3x04, it says that its from 2013 can it be possible? since this version was out at 2014 it seems weird, everything seems fine, smell is good but this is almost impossible to get in my country so i cant compare it with a original one, batch code is at the bottom, not at the side like yours.. I don't think the atomizer looks weird. The 2014 batches were made in late 2013, that is normal. Your box should have no black border at it's front. The black border was added after.

Are u by any chance familiar with counterfeit batch code “4N03”? Does that ring any type of red flag bell? I see one for sale, and it’s black inked into bottom of box where as I see other (2013) batches of Le Parfum pressed into box. Should this be a concern? Also, I see in video top of box is shoddy cello wrap. The listing I’m interested in, doesn’t show top of box photos. Red flag?

That does not mean it's fake. Who is selling it ? Batches on fakes can be copied/pasted very easily. 4N03 should be 2014. How does the box look like ? Does it have the black border ? I never saw fakes of Le Parfum with the black border.

Demirel32 The authentics that first came to the market (without the black rims on the box) have the formula number 08175/A. The ones that have the new esthetic with the black rim have the same formula written on the box. So it's the same, it has not been reformulated.

godbody1988 I got the authentic from an individual seller here in my country. You can find it on authorised retailers also. The fake I got from a crook, he does not have a shop. I bought the fake knowing it was a fake so I can expose it to the community. KZbin does a good job for connecting me to the world. Be aware that the fakes also come inside a white simple tester box, I could have bought that one also but it was too obvious in was a fake so I decided to buy this fake instead.

@@tattoofun2003 thanks man! Bought a bottle 2nd hand which weights 317 grams but there is no way 13ml is missing. It's original and few mils are definitely missing but 13 would be too much. Or is it possible that 1ml of perfume weights more than 1g?

@@Felinghetti I can not know for sure but it contains alcohol which is not as heavy as water. So 1ml of perfume should be less than 1gr. Do you have a box ? Do you have the same batch on box and bottle ?

Johmathan .B. Swift No fake manufacfurer can do this by itself, just like no designers can do this by themselves. Different parts are manufactured by different manufacturers. Bottle by some, boxes by others, plastic parts by others.

OK. I know a little bit about bottles. Generally , they'll have a number , not of the maker, but by the maker. Number 1 to 5 , something like that . It helps when the bottles are in production . They give them just in case something goes wrong . Helps to narrow the problems down. Recall, stuff like that.
