Evaluating the fake healing that we are seeing on KZbin and possibly in your own local area. We look at leg lengthening, arm lengthening and examine the videos to see if they are legit or if something is wrong. I do this in a spirit of love for the truth and loyalty to Christ. I hope we can have a wise and balanced approach to this sort of thing.

My husband had lung cancer. The elders at church annointed him with oil, laid hands on him and prayed for healing. As my husband went through chemo and radiation, the day of his surgery arrived. The operation took hours. The surgeon showed us xrays the day before and told us what he was up against (he had previously told me to get my husband’s affairs in order and make plans with the mortuary). The cancer had wrapped itself around my husband’s aorta. Finally the surgery was over and the surgeon came to me and he appeared anxious and a bit angry. He started (loudly) saying: “I don’t know what happened! This doesn’t make sense!! I can’t explain it, YOU saw the xrays, the mri?!” I finally asked him what was wrong…the surgeon said: “I opened him up and there’s no cancer! I explored, and looked everywhere. There is no cancer visible anywhere.” I called it a miracle. Sadly, this did not change my husband’s outlook on life.

Woe to someone miraculously healed in their mere mortal coil, yet not healed miraculously in the spirit. Where the one may have a longer temporary "life" in the flesh, the other has eternal life truly with God.

I was at a healing conference weekly class thing where people prayed for my residual back pain from a dislocated rib. They were anticipating and somewhat expecting me to say the pain was gone after they were done praying. It wasn’t so they said they needed to pray more and asked if I believed it would happen. They kept praying. Basically, it wasn’t working so I eventually just said the pain was gone because they kept asking me and there was no change. They asked me to move around but the pain was still there. It’s been around 10 years and that rib dislocates multiple times a day. The pain is always there. I think this happens a lot in these scenarios. People say it’s gone or better to just get rid of these people but they aren’t really healed. Thankfully, God grabbed my heart and I’ve stopped focusing on myself and abandoned that self-centered belief system. Now I’m part of one that sees God has allowed me to experience pain for whatever reason (I don’t know His plans) but the point is that I praise Him anyway. These healing ministries cause people to do opposite of what Jesus taught - it teaches them to focus on self like the world does and it takes our/their eyes off of helping others who are in need.

I would say these "healing conferences" are a little unbiblical... That doesn't mean healing can't happen, or never happens at these conferences, but I just don't feel like Jesus had big "Healing conferences" and told everyone to come to the front if they needed healing. I think maybe it wasn't your time, or place, to be healed, maybe they should've recognized that. I hope you have someone with the gift of healing pray for you, I said a little prayer for healing right now, I hope you are healed soon, or maybe it's already gotten better....

@@fukukyun78 I appreciate your thoughtfulness. My pain is from a genetic condition that is degenerative, so it only gets worse. I’m in constant pain but my focus is to accept it and praise God anyway. If He chooses to heal me then that is fabulous but I’m not focusing on that anymore. Justin Peters has never been healed of his congenital condition of cerebral palsy, but he still praises God. Some of us are meant to have ailments in this life. We may never know the reason why but need to know that God is sovereign and He may allow this to happen for reasons we may never know. Maybe the way I praise God through the pain and ailments will speak to someone and cause them to turn to Him. Their eternal life is much more than my comfort in this life. I have eternity to live in a healed body. I thank you for your prayers, but I would rather someone’s life get saved than experience personal healing on this earth.

@@Laundrey1 Well praise God if you are still able to praise Him despite the pain, that is wonderful! I do agree that it's not God's will to heal everyone like a lot of the faith healers preach, but I believe most people will receive healing if they believe, but in God's timing... I hope and pray you do. And contrary to what a lot of faith healers say, not EVERYONE has the ability to heal, the gift of healing is a gift, and Paul says we are to seek all gifts, but that doesn't mean we will be given all gifts... It's a very dangerous thing to teach that everyone should go out and pray for everyone they see and hope they get healed. Because not everyone's meant to do that. I have the gift of healing myself, although I've only healed three times in my life, and only one was amazing and it was when i was a child(my dad asked me to pray for my mom's back which was in incredible pain, she was healed instantly) And that's true, some people are meant to have ailments. We need to be thinking constantly "Not my will, but Yours." But don't say you will never know, you might learn why sometime in this life... If not, for sure in the next life :) God bless!

@BROTHER DYSTOPIAN Even if it were a whole 10% which I very much doubt, how do they mysteriously always home in on those people? To always find them? Why not find people with cancer and other serious diseases? Why not go to the people in wheel chairs? Those people need their legs healed way more. They can't walk. That is much more serious. So why not go to them? Why not go to the hospitals too and pray for those people? Why not people with oxygen tanks, COPD and heart disease, diabetes, missing legs, and other serious diseases. Why just home in on sore backs, legs that might be a bit shorter or a headache. If God can grow a leg longer then He can surely heal the other conditions; but you never see those getting healed. Another thing if a leg is short enough to cause problems they generally get a special shoe with a thicker sole in it; but you never see these people having a special shoe either. The deceit is maddening and it keeps on happening.

God either spoke to him personally and told him it would, or he knows it would because he’s the one manipulating the trick. @Charlie C. God’s will WILL be done because He has the power for it to be so. The fact that people get sick or have accidents and the end result is death proves that it’s not His will to heal everyone. When Jesus was on earth He only stayed within a certain small proximity in the Middle East. No one was getting healed directly by His contact in Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa, other parts of the Middle East, etc. He even refused healing of a gentile woman’s daughter until she showed faith in Him. To say it’s God’s will for everyone to heal makes Him out to be a liar because the evidence is obviously to the contrary.
@judylloyd7901

@Charlie C. Even Jesus didn't heal everyone. He went to the pool at Bethesda by the Sheep Gate, and singled out ONE man, healed him then withdrew, so the man couldn't find Him (John 5:1-15). The Apostle Paul didn't heal everyone, either. There was Epaphroditus in Philippians 2:25-30; Trophimus in 2 Timothy 4:20; and Timothy himslf had stomach problems which Paul, who was like a father to him, didn't heal, 1 Timothy 5:23. If healing were for everyone, then these faith healers would empty hospitals everywhere, all over the world. If people pray for others to be healed, and God wants all to be healed, then why isn't everyone healed? It's not a matter of creating a belief system then, is it? It's a matter of FACT, that not everyone is healed. We don't understand God's ways, because He is altogether "other" than us, and we cannot fathom Him with our finite human minds. We'd like everyone to be healed, but we have to admit that God doesn't always heal. We don't know why, but that is where faith comes in -- we have to trust that He knows what He is doing and has a purpose in everything He does. 😊😊

Kari Fobar RELIGIOUS KNOW-IT-ALL ATTITUDE Besides seeking position, religious spirits are seldom teachable because they think they already know it all. Whether or not the religious spirit has ever had any actual first-hand experience with the business at hand is of no matter. They may not have the first clue how to organize a banquet, for example, but they are quite sure that you are not doing it right and are even more certain that they could do a better job if they were only given the opportunity. It doesn’t matter what the activity is, the religious spirit always thinks it knows more than you do. This “know-it-all” attitude results in religious spirits becoming offended by anyone that they perceive may know more than they do. I speak from experience. Every religious person that ever walked into our ministry has made it clear to me that anything Minister So-and-So could do, he or she could do better. Surely we are always open to be taught, explore better strategies and ways of doing things but, unfortunately, most of the time a religious spirit’s advice is only a facade for self-righteousness, legalism, and criticism. Ask yourself these questions: Have you met a religious person that was insensitive to the needs of those around them? Do those who labor among you do good things or God things? Does someone you know always focus on your faults and continue to ignore your positive attributes? Is someone critical of the way you do anything for God? Have you ever been the victim of malicious gossip? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you have probably been the victim of the religious spirit.

Aaron James well discernment is not knowledge. Discernment is a spiritual gift that came after they were filled with the Holy Spirit. Discernment is not based in fear. Discernment is not based in religion and filtered through a cessation false doctrine. Even the Pharisees had a religious spirit. They said Jesus healed by the power of the devil just like the cessationists do today. Paul said forbid not the speaking in tongues but you forbid it. Jesus said lay hands on the sick and they will recover. But your Calvinist doctrine is elevated above what Jesus and Paul says. I’ve been healed!! Millions have been healed!!! But you don’t believe it because of the doctrine of man that you were taught. You twist the scripture and add and subtract to make it say whatever you want. You blaspheme the Holy Spirit by saying his healing is from the devil. The healing is there and the facts are there but you would rather believe a lie then the facts. JESUS STILL HEALS. Todd White came down to Brazil a while back and I went to see him with my girlfriend. We were in an auditorium with probably over 600 people, and towards the end of the service he tells us God is giving him a name. He pronounces the first name and last name, and guess what? It was my girlfriends name. Not only did he pronounce her name but he also she cut hair, and it was all spot on. I was shocked. Never had seen that happen, let alone with someone I actually knew. We went out to the streets and prayed for a bunch of people, and some got healed and other got delivered. Several people accepted Jesus.. it was a huge blessing.

Just throwing this out there, when I was a new Christian I thought Todd White was a fake... The reason for this was because I didn't really believe in miracles because I wasn't reading my Bible, and I was going to a church that taught about God's blessings and living an abundant Life but no Holy Spirit power. After being delivered 12 years later from some powerful demons, I started really reading my Bible and testing this stuff to see if it was true, as no one could have delivered me in the way Jesus did from the presence that was on me, likely since I was a few years old (overwhelming depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, etc ). After realizing that only Jesus could deliver, and if he did it now than maybe he still does it, and feeling a tangible presence of the Holy Spirit in me after a decade of walking with no power, I came across Todd White's videos again and there is a knowing in me that Jesus works through Him (as He can with anyone willing to pursue). No amount of "proof" will ever be enough for someone with unbelief in their heart, I can vouch for that. I have seen too many miracles not to believe that God is still healing, but I want to pursue and see more because it is never enough! The greatest miracle of all though, is salvation and an eternal life knowing the Father. Seek His Kingdom and it's righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Miracles are amazing, and I would rather step out in faith and nothing happen than shy away and nothing still happen, but more than anything let's all pursue the Father and let Him reveal the truth of these matters!

@@datguitarplayer1656 I must have misunderstood, and I apologize. I get a lot out of Todd White's messages, and the Holy Spirit in me is stirred when I see these things. Personally I know the reason I didn't believe in miracles was due to my own struggle with unbelief based on my struggles in life and not viewing them through God's Word, but that isn't the case for everyone. It has made me more bold and encouraged me to step out in faith to pray for others, and some have experienced radical healings. Whether others believe that or not is a condition of their own heart and seeking of truth, but as long as we are both seeking Jesus we will never be let down!

New viewer of your videos, Mike. I think when it comes to healing we MUST be discerning. God does heal people. I’ve actually personally experienced this, and it was funny enough my leg. I was in a Bible study and the whole group came around me - I sat in a chair with my legs straight out in front of me on another chair. Nobody touched my legs or feet, and it was crystal clear that my right leg was about 3/4” shorter than the left (this had caused me decades of hip and low back pain). The group prayed for me and my leg grew out in a split second. It’s now 7 years later, and I’m still measuring about 1/2” taller than I previously did, and I still have no further hip and low back pain. I think the fact that nobody was touching me, and the instantaneous nature of the change are keys here. I praise God and am so thankful for the gift of healing.

Amazing! I’ve personally seen healings too(from migraines to scoliosis). But I do enjoy Mike’s degree of skepticism. We shouldn’t over-hype the “maybe” healings and play them off as “for sure” complete healings. Many years ago there were evangelists who maybe at the beginning of their ministry saw real healings, but after a certain amount years( maybe their anointing for healing faded), the amount of healing started to lag, but this “evangelist” was known for healings( that was what drew the crowds). So they felt like they had to fake healings to continue the ministry. It was no longer about loving God’s children, but maintaining an image. Many of these evangelists excuses were “to increase the faith of the audience”. It doesn’t seem like God to use deception to bring faith. Skeptics like Mike help keep even sincere people like Todd White accountable. It helps me make sure, when I go out to pray for healing, that I don’t accidentally just use a psychological trick (that I didn’t know I was using) that I unintentionally obtained from healing teachers I’ve watched. I want the people to be legitimately healed for Jesus’ glory. I love seeing the joy in the people’s eyes when they are truly and confidently healed.

And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. 17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? 18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. 19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. Yes... this is true. People get caught up in the emotion of what's going on. I remember once at healing service of an evangelist who came to our church I was singled out. I was not being stubborn... I was willing to experience a move of the Spirit. He one by one put his hand on everyone in my row... got to me and no dice. He tried to push me to co-operate with him... nothing. He moved on and I was the only person left standing in the row. It affected me. What was wrong? Am I a faithless person? It caused me to dive into God's Word on the matter. Nothing he was doing was actually scriptural and it brought him glory rather than God.

I went to a conservative Christian university, and during one of our conferences they had 24 hour worship in the student Union building. One night I couldn’t sleep so I went to the student Union building and listened to the music. A bright-eyed man came up to me (yes THAT kind of bright-eyed). He made some casual conversation and at one point asked me “do you have any back pain?” A bit of an odd question but this was far from the first awkward interaction I’d had in college, so I engaged him. “Actually yes I have lower back pain especially when I drive” I told him. He then asked me if I wanted to see a miracle. Curious, I said sure. He then started calling to everyone around us and said “do you guys want to see a miracle??!” And a small crowd gathered. He then proceeded to do this same exact leg trick. I was sort of perplexed because it was obvious that he was just adjusting my hips to make them appear the same length. I told my dad about and he was like “yeah my chiropractor did the same thing” Kind of amazing how widespread this stuff is.

As someone who was healed of scoliosis, I can say this is not the way it happened for me. I went into the encounter with a so called healing evangelist that came my church at the time in 10/10 pain (which I had been crying about on my 2 hour drive back to church that night, knowing in my heart that I was going to be healed), giant golf ball size knot in my neck, curves you could both see & feel in my spine if you ran your hand down it & a hunched posture. There were 3 loud pops DURING the healing, people gasped at how loud they were when it echoed through the auditorium. I then touched my neck and the knot was GONE. I could not even crack my back for 3 weeks. When I first got physio for the knot in my neck (it was giving me severe headaches) they said it never looked like I’d had a massage in my life because my back was so knotted up around the curves. The following week I had a massage booked in and the massage therapist told me I had no muscles in my back. My friends said my back looked visibly different as soon as I sat back down in my seat and ran their hands along where the curves had been in shock. I was the only person to be “instantly healed” that night. And I have never had a problem with my back since. I left that night with 0/10 pain, weeping and thankful. It’s one of the reasons my faith is so strong to this day!

Ya, I agree on many points if not all. I did have my leg grow out before when my brother prayed for me. I actually had that sharp deep back pain out the lower back/tailbone, it hurt when I sat on floor to worship. So by this point I had been prayed for several times, months prior at different points for leg growing and nothing happened, we all agreed on that. But this time I watched my leg grow out and the pain left instantly. So it happens. It also happened to my mom, who's leg and back was worse than mine. But many times nothing happened as well. But I agree with the pretty much accidental, or non intentional leg growths, that can totally happen.

Great video Mike! One thing i also noticed with all the ”leg growing” videos, is that they always have their shoes and boots on. Very easy to play tricks with them. If they had no shoes on, it would be instantly visible if something happened or didn’t happen. And to determine something like different length of legs is a medical examination, it is not playing with one’s shoes and just saying ”yeah there you go you’re healed”. No actual evidence is given here. No shoes were taken off and given proper examinarion to legs.

I love your pursuit of truth man! I can totally see what you're saying with the leg stuff. I was always very skeptic of some of those. I figured I'd add some personal experience with Todd White not to defend anyone or say you're wrong in any way but simply to add to this video topic. I have personally prayed for three different people with Todd at a church in West Virginia. Two were stroke victims and one had a tumor and couldn't walk. We prayed for each one a long time. There was a ton of people that needed healing lined up but we stayed on the three I helped pray for for at least 20 minutes a piece. The one boy who was a stroke victim we prayed for into the am hours. All three were healed! And I earnestly believe that with everything in me. It was AMAZING! There was a bunch of us praying at the same time for these three people and it wasn't us, but Jesus in us. Todd was relentless in seeing them healed. The tumor lady who couldn't walk was running around the place and the stroke victims gained full mobility back in legs, arms, etc... I believed it's good to call things out, in a loving way. I agree with you in believing Todd is sincere and I believe he truly is completely in love with Jesus.

I spent many years as a pagan who regularly spoke with demonic spirits. Did you know I was able to 'heal' people with my 'powers'? It worked in very much the same way. You think just because you see the supernatural that its from God? You need to repent and read the Bible more if you think you can command healing miracles to occur. Probably should become reformed as well and learn that God is a God of order, and we ought to expect a consistent physical reality. Not miracles every day.

Psychosymatics is a powerful thing... Also, the fear of letting down the minister you look up to or being labeled "faithless" by your church family and becoming an outcast in your place of worship. Some of these ministers have wondered if they've pressured a false response but then let the thought pass for fear of losing their job, salary, lane of influence, or notoriety. And some fully succumb to desceptive tactics. I've seen this far too many times as a minister and PK who grew up in these circles where everyone is striving to be the next "Smith Wigglesworth" but settles for the secret title of over-paid (or under-paid) magician. Intentional fakery is NOT of GOD and fear-based silence does NOT come from the Holy Spirit!

Thank you Mike 🙏 I was supernaturally met by the Holy Spirit 3 years ago and saved from my unbelief and a life of sin, that I had no idea was even sin... I despised relegious people for their hypocrisy, arrogance and "superior moral values" that they would impose on others forcefully with no regard or respect for the individual ~ so for me to even be touched by God and given a new hearth, is miraculus in itself ❤🙏 When I started reading my first Bible, I was consumed by the Word.. I loved it.. Drank deeply.. And when I looked up again, I saw that the world had changed.. I saw the deep hypocrisy within the church, the rampant lawlessness (like, homosexual female Priests) and the 'cult-like' movements claiming supernatural healings, prophecy and signs... I was so nausious.. And felt very careful about what I said, and when- I do not want to discredit something that is in fact Holy Spirit moving.. So, the first time I actually did speak publicly about it, I said something along the lines of: "I'm not really comfortable with that kind of street healing, I dont't know, it seems manipulative to me" - I was emidiatly cornered by people, particularly one who wrote to me in private demanding I apologise and almost prove my faith to him (like: Yes, I believe in the ressurected Jesus Christ, and he is Lord in my life)- and it completely took me by surprice... And I'm hessitant to this day about speaking up about it - they are promoting Christ, indeed, but if they fake it, they are spreading this underlying notion that 'oh, so christianity is just another spiritual movement with people who are just as fake and 'seeking' like everyone else ... This is horrible!! 😫 Whatever demonic spirits are behind that, we should be praying against them.. Praying for peoples deliverance so they will stop in their sin (lying, manipulating ect.) I was delivered of a demonic spirit all alone, that had caused emotional torment for 6 months in my 2. year as a believer.. I had no idea about those things, and I certainly didn't know that I was under opression from a demon! But I was up in the middle of the night in one of my emotional outbursts, just crying and being in inner kaos- when I suddenly in my deep anguish just called out "Jesus will you please just DELIVER me!" and I hadn't even spoken the word deliver in full before a giant "swush!" sound was and something heavy lifted and 'flew away' from my chest... I was completely baffled... And just studdered thank you Lord... It was a very humbling experience.. So, my personal experience is, that we don't need any 'showmanship' not any social manipulation, not any suggestive speaking - God is REAL.. And his power is real!.. And if the Holy Spirit is pressent, things happen 'by themselves'... Are we so arrogant that we really think God needs us

Hi Mike, I love your videos and want to thank you for your content, which is so thoughtful and honest. One thing I want to bring up-I have a leg length discrepancy and go to the chiropractor for my hip pain. To be clear-my legs are not actually different lengths (this can be measured with a measuring tape), but my hip will not stay where it is supposed to because of ligament laxity. This is painful and goes away with the adjustment. Physical therapists also do this manipulation on hips to make them symmetrical again and decrease pain. Subluxations can be very painful, and this is a quick fix to decrease that pain, although follow up exercises and massage should be done to help the hip stay in the new position. Any attempt to “adjust” any body part-whether it be a spine or hip, by a non-licensed person who is not a health care provider is, of course, very inappropriate and not safe-although I did not see any forceful pulling in this video, so probably no harm done. You’re definitely right about the leg angle changing the way it looks; when I check leg length with my patients I always make sure the legs are centered at midline and one is not rotated more than the other.

I have been a spectator for 10 years until i obeyed the scripture and actually believes what it says. I have seen hunderds of miracles in the last year. It is for EVERY believer! :) Mark 16:17-18 King James Version (KJV) 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. If you believe, these signs will follow you. Keep the theology simple and have childlike faith. Im not saying that all of their theology is 100% solid, but the Holy Spirit is working through them to reach the lost. You can see it by their fruit. No one has his or her theology 100% worked out. We all have questions. But lets keep a healthy scepticism here. Be a vessel for Christ and take a risk, and He will use anyone who believes!

The Troll Patrol, thanks for your reply! I was not aware of that apparent fact. I have done some research, because I want my theology convictions to be true before I teach it. To my understanding, even if these were added later to this last chapter of Mark, is does not make these claims of scripture false. Many people see this as a strike to dispute the power of the Holy Spirit in miracles, signs, tongues and so fort. It does contradict anything else we read in the Gospels and after. It only empowers what is possible for the believer to do. But our natural mind does not want to accept it, but our spirit does. And I still see signs and wonders following me ever since, where ever I manifest Christ within me. My greatest concern is to reach the lost, and Im willing to use any biblical method of evangelism that is powerful and effective. Wether it is apologetics or miracles. Not to provoke you in any means, but, what is your experience in application concerning these passages? I came from an atheistic/agnostic worldview, being very sceptical of supernatural manifestations. When I became a christian I was always open to God’s power but did not understand how and what. But God blew my doubts away in times of trouble, once I took steps of faith. To Him be the Glory! Have a blessed day brother!

aikuza Thanks for the kind reply. A great relief and a proper Christian response. We shouldn't let these debates divide the body of Christ whereby we sin in our anger, so thank you for that. I believe in the supernatural of course and that salvation is something supernatural. I believe God created the entire universe and that He still has the ability to make miracles happen. He upholds the entire universe. Yes just because it's in the disputed section it does not automatically mean that it is not true. I personally would not try to tell someone that something is the word of God if there is a good chance that it isn't though. If the Bible supports a certain viewpoint, we should be able to find (nondisputed) verses to support it. (There are only a few areas with disputed verses. That part in Mark is one. The two other big ones are in John: one is the story of the woman caught in adultery and the other is part of the description of the pool of Bethesda. Then there are a few sentences here and there which should be marked in modern Bible translations.) If the Bible says that there are people today that have the gift of healing, then I would challenge you to find nondisputed verses supporting it. I don't think there are apostles around anymore. I'm pretty sure that there aren't healers anymore, though I would believe that God still heals people through natural and supernatural means possibly (however you define the difference). I'm willing to be persuaded if I can see a warrant for believing it. P.S. We should be able to support proper Trinitarian beliefs without appealing to 1 John 5:7 which most Bible scholars agree is a late addition to the text around 1000 AD (accidentally incorporated by a copyist from a scribes notes maybe). Blessings

I've got a verse [don't know if this one is 'disputed'. I mean anyone can dispute anything right?] "YOU WILL DO GREATER WORKS THAN ME" - John 14:10 There are so many more future-based miracle verses. But more than that - there is the living word. The testimony of those who have experienced first-hand evidence of His healing power today. We who have received this baptism, these tongues of fire, this resurrected life. All in all. Christ in you is the great mystery of God revealed by Paul in the new testament. And I happen to believe him. So I say may God bless you & keep you. May you grow in wisdom as Jesus grew in wisdom. May you enjoy a light & easy load on The Way. God bless

Did you continue to struggle with your sin then repent and so on OR did you cut your sin off completely? I'm struggling with mainly one sin that I can't seem to be free of. Yes I've repented like a thousand times or more, cast out those spirits etc etc. I'm actually believing what Todd is preaching thinking I need to die to myself and starve that sin. The problem maybe is im not fighting to star it. I try maybe 1-2 days then it's back again. No strength or will . I'm asking Holy Spirit to give me his strength . Please if you can give me your insight and what you did to obey this might help me. Is it basically stopping yourself from sinning willfully? So when something sinful enters your mind you immediately cast it out ? And not act on the sin? The flesh is such a battle but I want to be free of it. Hope to get your reply . Thanks and bless you

I was part of an emotional (charismatic) "healing" ministry in 1975, when I was a new Christian - at first I was a 'catcher' standing behind the person when they were 'slain in the spirit' . . when they found out I was a musician & singer, I was put into 'leadership' . I'm ashamed to say I was doing the same "healings": leg-lengthening, backaches & headaches, & other subtle "healings"; teaching people to speak in tongues, 'receive' the Baptism in the Spirit etc (very exciting stuff for a new believer) it took about a month of these nightly meetings to get to know these people, and realize they didn't fully know the Word of God - and most of them didn't care to know - (I was in the Bible every day at Calvary Costa Mesa ) ! Eventually I was involved in an Artist' & Music Ministry in Santa Ana, CA (Lovelight) bringing the Gospel to the "Rescue" Missions, Prisons, Jails, Juvenile Halls, and Christian house ministries & outreaches for the lost where I saw first-hand, and participated in God's Work as He healed the Blind, Deaf, Mute, wheel-chair bound, and Addicts of all kinds. God allows No one person to be exalted. All of us were in awe of His Love & Power. "Jesus Christ, the same, yesterday, today and Forever." (Heb.13) . God Bless your ministry. (Phil.2:1-18)

I even heard him said once that "any gospel that doesn't lead you to have a life transformation for Jesus is satanic" I encourage you to find out more about him! 👍

My mother took me to a Pentecostal church about a block away from our project apartment in OKC about 50 years ago, and I watched a very emotional "leg lengthening", and wasn't impressed. It's outrageous that so many manifest no fear of God to deceive others in the name of Jesus.

I don't do much praying for legs much. I mainly pray for knees, backs, necks, organs, rotator cuffs, etc. Seen sight restored to the blind. Seen deaf be able to hear again. Watched a woman with a dead arm of 5 years after a stroke move it again. Not just a little but was able to bring it level with her head. No emotional setup. No atmosphere. I generally pray for people at Walmart or my waitress at a restaurant or my checker at a grocery store or a fellow shopper or employee at Goodwill, etc.

Mike, thank you for your balanced and gracious approach to dealing with these deceptive issues. (1) And blessed are those who believe WITHOUT seeing (John 20:39). (2) Faith comes by HEARING the WORD of God. not SEEING the "signs & wonders" of God (Rom. 10:17). (3) We're called to walk by faith, NOT by SIGHT (2 Cor. 5:7). As believers, we NEED to be sseking ETERNAL assurance; not TEMPORAL evidence. Question: From a biblical standpoint, should we be publicizing miracles (via video) at all?

Hi Mike. There is a video of Todd White praying for healing for a blind boy who then sees. It is a different one than you have here. It really looks genuine to me. The boy is starts crying and if I remember correctly the mom may be brought to belief in the Lord. Not sure I could be wrong about the details but I do remember the boy who seemed truly healed. Also, as far as Todd White preaching, he does preach repentance. Im not saying these are authentic healings on your video but I do believe he has a genuine ministry that preaches the gospel where people are lead to salvation. Our faith can heal us...

Dear Mike, I totally understand your questions as I have had them myself. You seem very sincere and not at all like those cessatinist groups who constantly slander those who operate in the gifts of the Spirit. I also agree that we who believe these things must be discerning and willing to think critically. I believe the Word is 100% true and therefore Jesus tells us to go and heal the sick so we should be able to. So in my desire for truth I became determined to figure out if these things are true, specifically if Todd White’s ministry was legit. So I, in response to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, went to one of the Power and Love events he is a part of to see for myself. I left that event completely changed! I have now been used by the Lord to heal people myself and I cannot deny this happens. Even the leg lengthening I have seen in person, and performed myself, at the prompting of God. Many of the teachers at that event were so wonderfully ‘normal’ and were my favorite above Todd, but that isnt at all a judgement against him. I simply connected better with others. Todd has a very special bubbly personality and uses his little phrases like ‘you’re amazing’ and ‘yay God’ and honestly I don’t think someone’s personality is up for criticism. Also, as opposed to the first obviously manipulative false teacher you show a clip of (I prayed for that poor boy immediately!), people leave interactions with Todd in awe and wonder and VERY often having accepted Christ. Todd uses healing as an evangelism tool almost exclusively, he’s not using it for his own glory or gain but to bring people into the kingdom which is also the way Jesus frequently used it. I also see him displaying the fruit of the Spirit. These healings are taking place at random out in communities so no, they aren’t set in a lab where precise measurements can be taken to confirm them, and the videos are mostly on phones and not coming from all possible angles to prove them either. When people minister in the streets like this they just operate in the moment at the prompting of God. This is very reminiscent of the book of Acts. It’s not clinical and it’s not scripted. It’s not always done in the same manner, and at times the Holy Spirit prompts you to do things in the moment that you may not have done before, even when faced with the same injury or condition. Look at how many different ways Jesus addressed healing in his own ministry. Todd has performed so many, probably 1000’s of these types of healings, so yes there will be many left legs on video. And he isnt the one posting them all! When someone knows there will be a healing in the moment often it is coming through a gift of faith or word of knowlege. Whether one leg grows or one shrinks, having both the same length is the goal so what’s the difference? When Todd asked the last guy if he has a shoulder issue...he never said he was speaking in the name of the Lord. Part of why he may seem to act like he knows everything already is that he is taking a hugly bold step of faith to heal in public like this and he’s trying to move in confidence and not succumb to fear. Put yourself in his shoes for a moment. Him being confident that God will heal could even come across like he thinks he knows, but is he really saying those words? Maybe you have a better example to show of this. I highly recommend you check out the research of Randy Clark who has investigated many healings and is always concerned with confirming them medically. I love Randy’s teachings and methods. He is a different personality and is far more methodical and gentle in his approach. I can see obviously that you’re a true believer and I bet probably God has gifted you for healing. This may be why you have such a passion for investigating these things. Problem is....consider that a person of wisdom knows that you could be manipulating these video clips just as easily as the original videographer could have. I am not at all accusing you of this, just pointing out that the deception can happen on both sides of this coin. So...maybe first hand evidence is the only real way to know? Go and see! Bless you brother, may the Spirit of Truth lead you into all truth.

i really sense gentleness and meekness in your spirit; i think it’s so profound what you said. We really need to understand that the Holy Spirit never condemns, He only convicts. He told of the times he was seeking to heal others but it took a long time with many failed tries, he admits this too. His honesty is incredible, and so are his gifts from God. He does look and act different than other Minister's, so what should a man of God look like, and talk like? A suite and tie with the pharisee badge?

Mike, you brought up tongues tonight. I really, REALLY wish you would do a teaching on tongues, what it really is. I totally buy into the idea that the Spirit can gift someone use of an earthly language they never studied before, that is EXTREMELY clear in the Pentecost account. And yes, I know Paul said "if I speak in a heavenly tongue", but I think he was just making a rhetorical point, to claim that even if the Spirit HAD gifted him the language of Heaven itself, without having love it doesn't matter. The thing is, though, a lot of people I care about, older brothers in the faith, totally believe in the Charismatic version of speaking in tongues.

I prayed over a homeless man who came into a meeting I was having at my church and had him sit in a chair, line up his legs, and had a witness come look while my eyes were closed. His legs were one inch apart and they actually moved in my hands! Weird! I don’t think his legs grew, but I think his back came into alignment. All the pain he was having left. Look, I’m a skeptic too but that seems like a miracle because I honestly didn’t do anything! I was just a little pastor of 45 people. We were having healing services at the time and had several visitors come. Some got healed and some didn’t (God doesn’t heal everyone). Like I said, being the doubter I had my eyes closed and I felt the movement under my hand! I only prayed over someone once (this time). I also went to Africa and had some healings happen in those revivals.

As a body worker, I can say that very light movement can create change in the body. It actually doesn’t take a lot of training if you are a kinesthetic learner. Sadly, the perversion of miraculous healing is disheartening. I pray & always believe for a complete healing. There are times people have gotten off my table & are completely pain free & aligned. But, more times than not, they come back for this as a chronic problem. It saddens me to think if these people felt they received a faith healing & then go back to day to day living without a firm foundation in the Word.

But I know thats not the only way of following Christ. Thanks to servants like you (Mike), Justin Peters, Frank Turek, WLC, Daniel B Wallace, etc. A summer or 2 ago. A healer from Peru I think (from South America) came to our church. Eventually my parent forced me onto the stage. The healer asked me if I wanted to be taller, he was going to realign my legs, and the biggest one, heal me from the use of glasses. None if which happened (along with being put on the spot with a mic, in front of the congregation, phones recording, and this healer had the nerve to say it was my lack of belief). Sidecomment: Even amongst my Pentecostal church there is differences in theology. I have a friend and a brother comment jokingly if I was healed. Agreed. The word says that we would know them by their fruits, and their fruit really shows in their teaching, their genuine love (especially Todd White) and the miracles that follow. When it comes to Todd specifically, he has so many healing videos around the world with all kinds of people that don't even know English (and he doesn't always have an interpreter, he just goes as the Spirit leads him) that it's just impossible to arrange for something like this. I also think it's quite silly that a self-professed "teacher" (namely, the man in this channel) would go through such great lengths to 1. make healing miracles look bad and mainly credit the miracles in the early church (which is futile given that "the latter glory will be greater than the former") and 2. starting debates online behind a computer instead of going to one of these men's conferences with a person that is physically impaired or something and seeing the Lord's hand move for himself. Technically, I don't even need to be posting this comment. I don't have to defend the Truth... the Truth can defend itself. We should just pray for this brother and this channel.

@@Andy-lu6sx He may be friends with Benny Hinn but he doesn't speak/act like Benny Hinn. God has not given us a spirit of fear, so instead of steering clear of someone, we should just test every spirit with the Truth (Christ and the Holy Spirit within us) to know if what they say and do comes from God or not. We are called to have "good courage" not to back down, because greater is he who is in us. Also, the "baptism by fire" is fully supported by scripture. You can find it in Matthew 3:11 "I (John the Baptist) indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is *mightier* than I... he shall *baptize* you with the Holy Ghost, and *with fire..."* I've been through it and I know many people that also have been through it. It is spiritual in nature because it comes from the Holy Spirit. There's nothing to be afraid of when it comes to these sensitive issues. Does it sound a little strange? Then ask the Spirit for answers! Test the spirit of what you hear and see until you get to the bottom of it! Have a blessed day.
