There's something called credits in America where if you dont pay back your monthly payments of credit card bills they mark you as a bad credit citizen and you wont have the economical privileges that others have? Btw that social credit system only applied in a small community in one small city of China, Im sure you watched that youtube video talking about that socia system and now you think you know everything about China. The mass surveillance decreased crime rate to almost non existence in China, mean while in the big and advanced home of America, you still have hood gangs robbing you in day light, I live a NYC and I see a camera on top of every stop light of the intersection, however the difference between these Cameras and the ones in China is that these dont do anything and doesn't stop crime.

At the end you say “rather than working hard”... this is a fallacy in a capitalist society. Especially with a population as high as China. They can work to death and still not make it. The system isn’t built for the majority to thrive, so it makes sense why they would go to extreme levels to be validated. Great insight in this video though.

If someone with the right resources can actually arrange for such a meeting with rich and influential men, then ambitious girls should really take advantage of it. Cheaters are scum !! HOWEVER, we are not going to sit here and act like this full grown woman is completely innocent. Just because she’s single and not cheating on anyone doesn’t mean sh*t and to say that in her defense just shows how flawed your logic is in this situation. When you get married and your husband cheats on u, will you defend the girl he cheated with if she’s single and not cheating on anyone? Ridiculous. I hope you understand that in the way it’s easy to not cheat on your wife, it’s also easy to not get with a married man especially if you have respect for yourself and another couples marriage...

@KarijnsWatercolors

"Work hard" is a mentality that is no longer valid in this era. Maybe it would have been in the 80's or 90's where you'd get more money if you worked more hours, or you were rewarded with bonuses for doing more work. Nowadays it's "work smart" that gets the money. Also, I kind of dislike the fact that the speaker claims that you don't need to have a skill to become famous and I think that's not true because you still need to have an idea/concept and convey it in a way that makes it appealing/relatable to many people, maybe it's not an obvious skill such as a physical one (singing, playing an instrument, drawing...) but it's still a skill. Plus, you need to be consistent and put in quite a lot of effort to keep the audience with you for more than a couple of videos and once you're more famous, it's even more demanding. But I guess to the older generations, influencers will always be considered "the ones who got easy money for doing a couple of videos".

"when young people aspire to get rich quicky how far can the country go?" The real question is WHY do young people want to get money 'quickly'? Is it because the country made it impossible to live a normal life without big amounts of money, and because there is no actually way to get rich by 'working hard'? The goverment should really think about it instead of blaming citizens for not having what they have
@randomplebian461

I partly agree with you but I am also inclined to believe that there would always be people willing to lie and scam others to get quick money in any era any rule. When they target us plebs, we call them thieves and scammers and feel rather indignant. But instead of spending years studying and taking 4 lectures per day to earn X amount of money in a month, many would rather spend their teens in fun and then scam others of X money in a day. Society would collapse if such people are applauded.

Getting money the “traditional” way consisted of the 996 system, as in, work from 9am to 9pm, six days a week. There’s not really a sweet spot between the two, and the alternative of leaving the country as skilled workers (like my family- college educated and experienced) needs education, which in turn needs money, which, as mentioned in the video, isn’t an option for a large part of the population.

Thieves put in a lot of effort to do their work nicely too, you know. Everyday scams also take skills. They must justify it by saying don't blame us, the person we robbed already had a better life than us. Just because the upper crust here is being scammed doesn’t make it okay. Plus, a lot of the celebs being made a fool of likely also climbed up the ladder themselves. It's why I always was uncomfortable with Robinhood, really. These people are promoting rampant consumerism, which I fail to see as anything 'good' when being done consciously.

Honestly, as a guy I prefer natural looking girls than those who do plastic surgery or put on too much make up. sure they are eye catching at first and it boosts their confidence, but being less attractive can reveal the person's true nature which would lead to honesty and a lasting relationship. Treasure yourself, don't let society influence you too much. As a man, take the lead instead of having girls to approach you.(which is why they try so hard to gain confidence in the first place).

Bulimics may be slim or not slim, but they all purge. Anorexia might be medical. Cats may be diagnosed with anorexia, because the etymological meaning of anorexia is simply means “negation of appetite”. Anorexia nervosa is psychological, it’s diagnosed when the patient falls below a moderate underweight BMI along with other symptoms such as intense preoccupation with food, obsessive fear of gaining weight, over exercising, and severe anxiety or loud thoughts while eating. Many anorexics will also engage in binge/purging behavior. EDNOS is the term for eating disorders not otherwise specified. Sometimes being an influencer can be a taxing job. Imagine that you have to be 'your image' 24/7. Atleast with traditional jobs you can separate yout life and free time from actual work time...

to add, you have to meet the demands of your audience CONTINUOUSLY to not loose them and your income; needing you to make original (however that means to you) and engaging content....you yourself have to make (unless you got a team) creatively (sometimes with your own means). This makes some influencers vulnerable to a variety of people because its all so personal too. Moreover, we haven't really grasped how to define or use 'being an influencer'... so much is changing in the economy and culture. 'influencership' will broaden its use and meaning in time. Just like everything that is new, there will be hate, confusion towards something we don't fully understand yet. I just wish people would be more open about other peoples options on how to live life, create success for themselves and make money. I wish in the future we settle with having more good sides towards what 'influencership' means to society.

@@Dan-sv3kz it's because the influencer trend is destroying females. It is a female instinct to make their peers jealous of them, they're in competition with their "frenemies" about what bag they have, or how popular or beautiful they are. These influencer platforms is them doing this on a larger scale. The reason influencers get hate is because this narcissistic behaviour is vile

This makes me extremely sad. Granted, living in the U.S., and working my *ARSE* off for 30+ years... I've basically gotten nowhere. Even when I tried to create my own businesses, my own successes, etc. I'm not sure what to say. Humans only have one chance at Life here on Earth. I guess we all have to do whatever we'll do, or die trying. Good luck, young people of China (and everywhere else)!!

"... when young people aspire to get rich quickly how far can the country go." Me: LMFAO! Ppl don't CARE about the state of the country so long as they can live comfortably with money in their pockets. Nobody has time to worry about every little detail that goes on in a country when we only have a short life to live on this miserable planet. 😒

Humans are generally short-sighted, true. Most don't care what happens after they die, as long as they get to live their life nicely. This is what has led to rampant pollution, consumerism (with labourers getting less and less wages), global warming etc. All that is not our problem, we just want to live our life to the fullest. I think this will be our downfall as a species. How laughable, for the (allegedly) most 'intelligent' species, that has built complex societies and amazing civilisations, to fall to something so foolish in the end.
