You’d think Amazon would have a verification term for the ones that use legitimate businesses names and logos.

Very informative, so if the Chinese dudes that are faking these knives are watching your video, they just learned what to improve on and shortly they will have evolved to the point. That you will be forced to buy from mfg, to ensure your getting the real deal and forget about the after market world of buy sell trade, unless you know how to test the metal in your blade..

Its hard to tell if you looking at the g10 handles. Spyderco has changed the feel of the g10 through the years. I noticed my 2019 model pm2 is not as rough as my older model that i have. The 2019 i have is alot smoother texture. Its still rough, but you can feel the difference

3:00 I don’t think I like that. Using anything from a fake and swapping it over to a real one is bad business.

Well, the fake Para2 retail price is at 3.5 to 8 USD range free-shipping in China, but u can simply spot the fake one because retailers start offering apple or fluorescent green G10 in color, and other tons of different cheap looking colors variations. That contouring G10 handle holds pretty good in hand than my real Para 2. It is a puzzle for me that why the hell original designers in China have learned nothing from overseas great brands(which will cost me at least twice the MSRP in the US),but spend their talents on counterfeits years and years.Maybe it's because of secondhand-dealing about knives is illegal in China so no one really cautions about couterfeits.Shhh... In addition,I'm sure u didn't get the better couterfeit BM Bug out selling on RU market lol.

To me its easier to support a company that produces a clone as long as they do not advertise their product as a genuine, than it is a company that uses map or Minimum Advertised Pricing that does nothing but rip there loyal customers off! When I was a teen I was saving up for a spyderco before there ridicules MAP PRICES at one point and time 39 dollars could get you a real endura but looking at the price today of 87 dollars there are a lot of people out there that will scream at the top of their lungs take my money but for the people out there that cant afford to throw a weeks worth of groceries on a single blade it's good that there are clones and increasingly original designs from brands that sale at affordable prices for the average working class if they dropped the MAP (which is very unlikely) It would be a different story but until then they won't be getting any of the money that I work long and hard for!

The Endura 1 had a $74.95 MSRP in *1995*, which is equivalent to $52.47 MAP. Adjusted for inflation, that's $90.86 in 2020 dollars. The current MAP for the base model Endura 4 is $87.50. Despite 25 years of material and engineering improvements, the price of the Endura has remained essentially unchanged.
