Yo yo guys, this video isn’t targeting particular social media gurus or tubers by any means. This was a general observation about all social media… and no, the driving at night hack.. Steph and the kids didn’t sleep in the van whilst I drove.. that would be stupid. They went back to sleep in the car 😅

Enjoying your honest videos. I worked for a major retailer, and witnessed the birth/growth of brand ambassadors. I'm not a fan in general. We are experienced offroad travellers/campers but have just picked our first offgrid caravan, so we appreciate learning from others' honest experiences. Looking forward to many adventures.

Great Vid. I worked & lived in Broome for 3yrs with wife & 3 young kids in primary school. Company provided 4 bed Hse at cable beach & we had a blast. Only left because eldest was heading to High School following year & did not want him in Broome H/S as lots of issues there. We dreaded peak season as town was crazy overloaded with tourists like a tsunami. Did plenty of mud crabbing & you have gotta know what your doing for sure. Miss those balmy nights but absolutely Luv our lifestyle back in northern suburb of Perth near Hillary's. We are fully geared up with our 4wd & 18ft caravan so still having a blast getting away when we can. Gotta luv WA with some 13,000kms of glorious coastline to explore

I do Hipcamp reviews and post to KZbin, learning heaps along the way and very much just a hobby, hats off to guys like you who post 20 and 30 minutes each Week, people sometimes do not appreciate the work that goes into these videos. My frustration is when creators deny they are affiliated with a brand when they clearly are. Keep up the good work guys.

You know what annoys me about some content creators (not you guys) and one in particular is when they get a new van they say it’s the best ever and then say we are working with the vans manufacturers and are now their ambassador’s, we’ll golly Gomer Pyle when your paid for giving positive comments dont piss in peoples pockets doing it. Anyways guys keep up the good work and don’t sell out, if you do just be honest. Cheers and beers.

Great video so far. Watching in bits. Funny you mention the window stays. I've a 23 mdl jayco with ratchet style window stays that are constantly jamming or not holding at all. The 24 model jaycos now come with the struts your van has, and i was looking to upgrade mine to them or that style you have, but maybe issues with that style also?.

Hello Bud, we met at Kingston SE at the water tap filling up, the old bloke. A question on the OGO toilet. How robust is the guts of it. After 8 years on the road, I am wary of electronic shit and its durability. Just figured I would get a no bull s answer from you. Tossing up OGO or airhead. Thanks stay safe
@LostTribeAdventuresАй бұрын
Hey mate, good to hear from you. Arh the OGO, at first we loved it, thought it was the ducks nuts.. but now we are not sure if we are liking it. Haven’t seen the airhead unit, I’ll have to look that one up. Yea I don’t think the OGO unit is not there yet I think, like you said not robust enough for everyday full time van life.

A lot of people dont have morals and only see the $ sign when they get discounted or free products. They want more free shit so they keep their cake hole closed. Product placement unfortunately has become then norm. I love gear just as much as the next bloke, but not many channels focus purely on the trip. Most mention brand names they use for obvious reasons. A review video should be just that. A travel video should be just that.

Hey mate. It looked like a Girard system. So I can tell you from experience there isn’t much that goes wrong with them. They can get blocked on the inlet side exactly what you experienced. From Darwin to TAS in the winter they work pretty well. In summer up where you are I run it on 42 and in winter we have just come back from the blue mountains it struggles so you can adjust the out put from under the bed side just to release the hot water a bit slower so it can keep up. As for the windows don’t muck around and just get Dometic next time. There more expensive but hands down better than any other brand
