The grandpa actually pronounced "horchata" better than the grandson. But I do agree with the grandson that the Cabeza is the softest beef with Lengua the second most tender beef. The food looks really good but putting lettuce and tomato in a burrito or quesadilla is a straight up American gringo move, in Mexico they don't put lettuce in tacos or burritos.

@Nonickavailiable7 ай бұрын
I'm from México, usually original quesadilla is only tortilla and cheese (Chihuahua or Manchego, or the Oaxaca cheese if you want the premium one) Now, for "Special" quesadillas, you get Lorenzas or Caramelos (adding grilled meat); QuesaBirrias (Adding birria meat and dipping the tortilla in the consomé of the birria); Sincronizadas (Adding slices of jam and avocado, and some times a sauce); Quesadilla al pastor (With pork/lamb meat that has been marinared in adobo.

@gabeal28927 ай бұрын
The main difference in these Mexican food dishes is what’s carrying the meat, so it’s extremely important to eat them right off the griddle . The meats all take a long time to be prepared so they’re not going to change much if you wait 30-60 minutes, but the whole point of eating a quesadilla is its crunchiness combined with the cheese pull that’s missing when you wait for over an hour to eat it. Same with the torta, the bread is toasted for a reason, and if you wait around for it to get steamed in a wrapper you’re missing the whole airiness of the bread combined with the velvetiness of the refried beans mixed with bits of salty, crumbly cheese. It’s like judging a pizza that was delivered an hour ago, nothing beats when Mexican food is eaten straight off the griddle, the most you can wait to truly experience it is the walk to your car. Once all the ingredients all hit the same temperature, food’s basically ruined and you lose that difference in textures and it all becomes one jumbled mess. If you reheat the food with the lettuce, tomato and avocado in it you’re basically a monster. 😂

Go with him to a Mexican restaurant where they have hand-made tortillas, menudo, pozole, birria stew, machaca and eggs, chorizo and eggs, chile verde, etc. You can do another video trying all kinds of Mexican seafood dishes, too.
