Awww! I love your grandpa. He is so honest in a loving way and carefree. He is right, this is his show! 😆 and about the racist names, I find "Trader Jose's" hilarious 😂 and somewhat proud because there's love for Mexican/Latin food in that store (I am Hispanic).

Hahaha pajeon in Korea is more like a batter where you put the scallions coated almost. Like American pancake batter. The Chinese one is more of a real kneaded “dough”. That’s what it’s so different. You can buy the mix at hmart it’s really easy. Gong gong can make them and add whatever he wants. It’s good with kimchi or seafood added.

At least there is no restaurant chain in the US that is called "Chinese Dumpling" that only serves hot dogs, because there is one called Wienerschnitzel that does exactly that.

I learned to cook when I lived in Beijing from a Chinese chef. Grandpa's right! These are Northern dishes. The Trader Ming's doesn't bug me having lived in the region that, even under the PRC, touted everything as a Ming this or that.

As a Korean person, 파전, pajeon aka green onion pancakes are different from the Chinese version because our pancakes are more batter based than dough based. So, no we’re not the same xD

Love your grandpa. Please invite grandma. You might want to look up the definition of racist. Trader Joe’s partners with different suppliers. They might have jointly come up with the name. But even if not, not sure how using the brand name is racist. You are implying unspoken assumptions. And I’m speaking as someone who has been a target in the past
@Davidmaxwell07 Жыл бұрын
I thought I was the only one who thought Trader Joe’s is a bit racist when it comes to names. All the mexican shit they sell. It’s called Trader Jose’s 😂 they even had pre made refried beans called “dozen cousins” fun but cmon

The kid is trying to be a contrarian against frozen or fast-food to pretend he's better when his own Chinese grandfather appreciates food and taste. This channel is entirely derailed because kid's agenda was exposed.
@sterlingforbes3872 Жыл бұрын
Haha bro how many times you need to call trader joes racist? If you really feel that way, don't support them with your business. Otherwise... just chill.
