@@kseniafedosova9169 in old saves the houses aren't upgraded so in order to see them you would have to make a new save after the update so any save file before the update won't have the remodeled houses

@@ezekiel.65 Not true. On my only save, which is 3 years old at this point, only the houses I didn't edit into something entirely different were replaced with new models. Spencer-Kim, Pancakes, Goth, and Landgraab were all the way I changed them, but the rest got replaced with the new models. Saved in my library I have both copies of each home. I didn't manually save any of them, and so that must mean EA placed the new ones there.

The Goth lot revamp bothers me because it's leagues better than the original lot on the outside, but on the inside it's not giving the correct vibes for the Goths throughout the series. Like, the Goths are old money! They have antiques! Mortimer canonically loves bugs! Bella is into the occult and paranormal! Alexander is just a kid so I don't have much of an opinion on his room, but Cassandra! She may be an eccentric nerd, but she has good taste (Sentate actually pointed this out, but Cassandra's dress in TS2's screenshots was based on a dress in the Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 2002 RTW collection)! They're Goths, and they're weird, but they're not tacky--in previous games, the Landgraabs and the Altos were probably the closest you'd get to that kind of ostentatious, almost garish decorating. Honestly though, the other renos you showed were pretty great, so I'm glad that we got them in a free update!

One thing I found odd is that the "rich" families have almost no money.... Current save file, my sim married Johnny and they basically made an 'addition' to his trailer and now it's a big ol family house. Landgraabs lost their home I think 1st generation (I just started gen 4). Now some single rando lives there. Somehow Calientes kept their house until gen 2 or 3. Spencer-Kims are still in their house, as are Goths. Basically, you'd think these "rich" families would have more household funds than like.... 20k. I know that's basically what everyone gets, it just doesn't make sense.

They have to have jobs that cover the rent for their respective homes. If you allow neighborhood stories to change careers, and you get that call asking if, say, Nancy should switch careers, then that is risking them losing their home. Make sure any careers that your townies pursue are able to cover the rent in 7 days of pay, or you can switch career changes or (even better) moving homes off in neighborhood stories for the townies you don't want to shuffle around.

More classes, etc etc. I know there's only so much they can do since it's a video game, but its not an accurate representation of hs. You're telling me the only sport is football? And then we have cheer? Those are your only athletic options? We have basketball from city living- have basketball as a choice! Soccer/football! It's just so lazy. And the football and cheer stuff is pointless anyways, the competitions are broken and it makes no sense. Why include a sport if you're not going to give them games, only a buggy and broken competition?

NGL, it feels like two different people build the exterior and the interior. Which would be fine, but they're SO DIFFERENT! Like whoever made the exterior clearly didn't think about the layout or any gaps, weird corners, etc; so most rooms look either too big or too small, there are strange gaps and nooks that aren't used properly, and just... the whole spacing is all wrong inside. And my theory is that whoever made the exterior didn't think about how practically you can furnish it, and whoever did the interior couldn't touch the exterior, so they got stuck with a bunch of extra space. Which ofc a competent builder could've solved, but whatever...

Seeing Bob and eliza's new home and their lore, i think the "their marriage is falling apart" is more like Eliza have some mommy brain and freaking out because she keeps comparing her to other moms. That and they are quite different from eachother, even if you play with them their love meter is quite high. The different beds is probably because they have different styles/different matras preference or one is a light sleeper and the other snores. Like i see Eliza working on a lot of old projects (like painting or woodworking) in the old house, so she is probably a freelancer.
