I'd like to know what gauge wires you are using for the neck, and what you would use for the wings for a flying Canada goose. Also I had asked before what gauge you use to attach a flying goose to the base. My eye is almost ready for me to do my flying goose mount.

Hi Canis As I have mentioned before I usually pick my wires visually depending on the pose but I can look at the wires and check out their gauges and let you know.

You are a great teacher of the art of taxidermy. I’d like to know what you are using to wrap your neck foam and cotton batting around the thigh. It looks like a 1-1.5” cellophane wrap. Also, where do you get your cotton batting. It looks like it is really quick and easy to work with. Thanks in advance for your response. Keep up the great work.

Thank you. Yes that a cellophane wrap. The batting material comes in yards and you have to cut your strips. You can easily buy them from any fabric store. Cheers.
