I have not played DCS with VR so I guess that is why I am not on the VR boat at the moment. VR seems like a lot of hassle with wires, performance, and user interface issues.

@@AviationPlus It seems like a hassle from the outside, but once you go VR, you can't go back. It's just next level amazing. I'm still using the OG Rift and even with its issues, I can't turn TIR back on. The experience is just so different.

Hello. A question for you if I may. How did you make your pilot appear? I was under the impression (clearly incorrect) that this can only be done through the setup page in BMS. Obviously there is another way. Any help will be appreciated. Lastly. I'm somewhat confused about how to ID aircraft. The last time I flew this sim was when it was just Falcon-4, so that's been a few years. According to the BMS training manual (which is somewhat confusing) my radar should be enough to lock and ID all aircraft but I can hear you using screen commands to contact the AWAC for confirmation. Is this still how it's done in BMS 4.34 and 4.35? Thank you.

You have to make sure that it is activated in the BMS settings. Yes now we have mode 4 (4.35) but that only means what is friendly it does not determine hostility. The radar is not enough to know what a target is. To call to AI AWACs all you have to do it lock it up and call it using the comm commands and it will send to the AWACs. I was verbalizing the bullseye because I wanted everyone on the frequency to know the location I was referring to. If not they would just hear that something is hostile and not know the location of that hostile.
