As Richard goes through his mail, he finds a note demanding “Francesca”. Pamela is relived to know it wasn’t sent by the cartel since the remaining leaders were arrested and Spheeris was killed (off-screen) during a gun battle in Geneva. Richard tells Pamela that they’re better off not knowing what was in the mine that Gustav died for. Richard relieves Pamela of her duties as chief of security, however, he wants her to find the sender of the letter.
