I think this episode does a fantastic job of illustrating the kinds of things former service members go through when they are no longer a part of their respective military organizations. Bucky is dealing with the mental health side, PTSD, depression and guilt surrounding the awful things he has seen or done, as well as his inability to open up emotionally to the people around him for fear of being judged or labeled a monster. And Sam is dealing with the difficulties of reintegrating into civilian life. It doesn’t matter how big of a hero he was previously, he can’t get a job or get a bank loan so that he can move on with his life and is running the risk of becoming destitute, homeless and simply losing everything.

I only just finished watching the entire series last night and I LOVE IT! (yep late to the party) Since I can't comment on the entire series in KZbin, I'll just do it by episode. As someone who mostly works in the museum and permanent exhibits industry, when I saw the exhibit design for the Capt exhibit at the Smithsonian , I thought, dang that looks really good! Kudos to the production designers, they really nailed a beautiful sleek look for the exhibition and I wish I could have been there to walk in that space! Also as a li'll funny product placement thing, the Tiger Beer that Bucky drinks at the sushi bar is from where I'm at: SINGAPORE! We Singaporeans were quite tickled to see our beer showcased on the show! I personally like Tiger Beer as well, light hoppy and refreshing!

have an epic fan theory, so when Captain America went back in time to live his life with Agent Carter. He created a branch timeline which includes the Agent Carter TV series, Agents of Shield, all of the Defenders shows, The Punisher, Cloak and Dagger, Runnaways, (Inhumans never happened, it was just a bad dream by villian Nightmare) and I guess Helstrom (Since it would have tied with AoS Robbie Rheyes). On top of this Daniel Soua traveled to the future, with the Agents of Shield, and was last seen with Daisy "Quake" Johnson in this alternate timeline. Fun fact, the real Jarvis, who debuted on the Agent Carter TV series cameos in Avengers Endgame. This shows there is a connective multiverse thread to the pre-Wanda vision Marvel television shows, and who knows, maybe the blip never happened on Agents of Shield because of these time travel/multiverse shenanigans... Or maybe Deadpool just broke the multiverse with Cables time travel device and now Owen Wilson and the TVA need Loki to stop him from killing the Marvel universe.. boom

We basically know the path that Sam is being guided as Captain America and potential leader of the new avengers, but Bucky we don't know what they are going to do with him what his role is going to be in the MCU. And pretty good start of the show loved the down time they showed in the show and the Bubba shrimp reference. Great job

Here's a good _layered_ observation: 11:50 shows *Maneki-Neko* raising the left arm (for improvement in business). Versions raising the right arm augur financial gain. Different coloured versions: white (good luck, fortune), black (ward off evil), red (health), gold or yellow (wealth) and pink (romance). Oh, and by the way, he's Japanese, not chinese. 招き猫

I got the impression that only ONE of the Flagsmashers was super powered (the one that leapt from the window was the same one that kicked that person, and the same one that Joaquin tries to stop. Joaquin also recognises that there is one main antagonist, since he specifically says "He's getting away" when the guard tries to arrest Joaquin).

I wrote this in another video’s comment section, but in regards to the Kanji (Japanese/Chinese symbols) in the end credits, the red above the Ape says 腐敗 (Fuhai) (Corruption) so maybe this is referencing Madripoor. The ape has 金 (Kin) (Gold or money) in it’s mouth. Perhaps Madripoor feeds on money. The white above Red Wing says 相棒 (Aibo) (Partner/buddy). The word is sometimes used with dogs cos they are loyal pals. The gold cat is a “Maneki Neko” or “lucky cat” which supposed to bring good fortune or coins. The cat’s hand is a “beckoning” gesture. (In Japan the “come here” gesture is over handed cos the underhanded gesture done in the Western world is considered rude) Pokémon’s Meowth is inspired by this cat.

1:32 I think he actually learned this move from Ant-Man, who used it in the Ant-Man movie against him when he was trying to steal the shrinking suit from the Avengers compound, and who he (Ant-Man) initially learned that move from in the same movie where Hope Pym used it on him in a training session.
