I'm so pleased you enjoyed it, and hope it inspires a few locals to make a visit up there - it is such a beautiful place. While filming scenes quietly alone on the trail, I sensed an interesting ghostly/wistful feeling to the place I normally don't feel in outdoor areas I spend time in.

@@humboldtoutdoors6082 sitting at the picnic table near the parking lot, reading a book while my son hiked, I too felt a little spooky cool feeling. It's so quiet and the trees form such a thick canopy over that table. I love going there.

@@humboldtoutdoors6082 Maybe the former inhabitants of Falk were there giving off ghostly energy? Recently I took the road out to the coast, off 101, on the south side of the Klamath. Beautiful long winding loop road with breathtaking views. There's a historical plaque along the way that tells about the unusual reason there are 2 cabins nestled into the hillside overlooking the ocean. I felt a little creepy twinge reading that plaque much like the feeling at the Headwaters Reserve. Maybe another video for you?

@@allikatt777 Thanks for the tip. I'm always looking for ideas on local programs for Access Humboldt. To add - if you, or anyone you know is interested in making local programming like this, non -profit Access Humboldt heartedly encourages any Humboldt County resident to join as a member. It's only $25/year and they provide all the equipment, training and support at a super low cost - local programming is especially needed. accesshumboldt.net

I've taken sooo many people to Falk to teach them the history. I wonder if that 1930's dump truck is still off the cliff a minutes walk from there. The engine house was actually a distance away....BLM disassembled it and reassembled it where it's at today.

Thanks for the interesting comment! Julie Clark, the BLM ranger for that area would probably know the answer.

I'd love to hear it! I was actually working on another music vid with your Just be Glad song, but can't set up my green screen while I'm rebuilding my garage for the fairy scenes.
