2021 Tundra SR5 3” lift with 295 70/18s. Had to do a cab mount chop as I got rub at full reverse lock. Loving them so far. Drove through some really bad rain storms and they performed a lot better than my KO2s.

Great news to hear. I just drove eight hours one way and they did great and aren’t that noisy.

Just got my 295 70/18 and I am in the same situation with having to do a cab mount chop. Did you have to do anything to the front bumper? I'm getting a little rub and already pushed the plastic forward so I may have to shim the front bumper or go aftermarket.

@@boneskull4207Yeah, I had some slight rub on mine and had to take off front flaps. I have a CBI hidden winch bumper so it was already pushed out an inch or so. If anything, get a CMC and you can go to 35's later.
@boneskull42079 ай бұрын
@RiflemanLEONE yeah, I took the flaps off before I got the tires in anticipation of that happening, as far as the cmc I believe you are right and go ahead and get it out of the way for future possibilities. Thanks for responding and have a blessed day!

Thank you, eight hours of driving one way done. ✅ smooth, not to noisy at all and really depends on quality of pavement.

Your tires are rubbing due to your aftermarket wheel offset. Lifting the Tundra does not increase space for larger tires. I have TRD Pro, which is 2" lift from the Fox Suspension and I run 285/70-18 on stock wheels and no rubbing....
@828findadventure7 ай бұрын
Do you have mud flaps at all?
@eriknash87837 ай бұрын
@@828findadventure yes, all flaps are installed including the small front spats. Those are very close, but still no rubbing
@NebuChadNezzarKBDNАй бұрын
This is correct. People need to stick to at least +25 offset. I run a +40 on my 21 tundra. It’s unreal how many people buy wheels that are so impractical for their vehicles. Bad for suspension geometry and overall wear and tear. I judge people on how much poke they have. 😊

Very nice!! So glad you said heat gun, guys always hacking/trimming the plastic. Push it up and in with the heat gun. Running the AT3W's but a 275/55R20, not thrilled with the 20" rim that came with the truck but that's for another day.

How was the ride quality on those E load falcons? I’m thinking of getting the same exact ones for my Tacoma. Same size as well.

Do these tires rub the swaybar without the 18mm offset? I have 285/75R18 Toyo Open Country AT II and I have some rubbing there with a 2" spacer lift. I got the Bilstein 5100 and I want to put them on the highest position, take the spacer off and put some 275/70R18 Wildpeaks. Is the 18mm offset necessary for that? Thanks you!
@828findadventure8 ай бұрын
My rub is only on the front right fender well at full lock in reverse. I run the 5100s on the top perch. I am not certain about factory wheels which are around +53 off set.

Hey, what are your wheel specs for offset? I just did bilsteins and looking for 33-34" tires now but trying to figure out rubbing clearance
@828findadventure9 ай бұрын
Wheels are Methods 18”x9” with a plus +18 offset. That gives .75” of poke past the fender. My OE style Bushwacker flares cover that to protect the paint. Thanks for watching.

@828findadventure thanks bud. Some of the description links weren't working. I added 20x9 +18 offsets to my 1794. Front wheel front mud flaps/air dams rubbed in reverse only. At full lock to the right I jave a little rubbing to investigate. Looking for solves before I go 33.5" tires
