Replay crew here from Winterpeg (🙏not yet) My hubby is from Fortune! So I know of these things, but now I finally get what Toutons are! 😂 Not sure I wanted to know about the Old Hag tho, I can’t even count how many times I heard him say “the old hag had me”while waking up!! 👀 I haven’t been down at the right times for any fall festivities! But I know they would be “Best kind”!! We were here for the Flood of the Century, 1997. Air Canada had a flood relief sale, hubby & daughters got a 5 day trip to Nfld for $200 each!!! I didn’t get to go, too short notice for work 😢 Funny thing, things were just where I left them for those 5 days 😂🤣 If you ever come to Winnipeg, come in August. We have Folklarama! It’s a 2 week event with 20-30(approximately) Pavilions of different Countries .There’s traditional food, drink, entertainment ! 😋 The event spaces host 2 countries, each for a week. Sister & brother in law came up last year & visited 8 pavilions! Chinese was there favourite! Hard to see them all! Especially if you try their traditional liquor! 😂🤣 Gotta say, it sure seems harder to carve out a turnip than a pumpkin!! 💜from Winnipeg

The Folkarama sounds amazing! I have always wanted to visit Winnipeg, I will have to add it to my list of place to visit within the next 2-5 years, and yes, I have a list :D

Looks like I'm a bit late to the party here. Kevin, you asked to tell where we are from. As you may or may not know, I'm from the Sunshine Coast Queensland Australia. In a little place called Flaxton. Flaxton sits on top of the Blackall range. Which is part of the Blue Mountains. The mountain range runs from the top of Queensland all the way down to the Victorian. If you drive just up the road from our house, you can look out towards the east and see the ocean off in the distance.
